Historia
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

I almost stopped listening…
Revisado: 01-18-23
But glad I didn’t.
It’s true that the book is no “Can’t Hurt Me.” That is a hard follow to replicate.
Yes, he does use a lot of profanity, so if you have if you are easily offended then this book may be for you.
If you are looking for a good story and inspiration, you will enjoy it. The podcast portion got old quick and if I knew then what I know now, I would have just skipped them and saved my time and my disgust for listening to the narrator work Goggin’s knob over and over again. Just say’n.

First 13 or 14 chapters were good. Ending was weak.

Performance was good. Easy story to listen too and follow. He has some great points on retail but he even admits a lot of it is common sense. Last couple chapters are more about his personal travels and he related it with retail but I personally lost interest.

Audible version was not for me
Revisado: 12-31-18
I heard Mastin Kipp on a podcast and I thought the book sounded interesting. It wasn't what I was expecting, Mastin stops the audio recording several times and gives his own little explanation of what he is talking about in the book. I wasn't crazy about that. He talks a lot about your "Creator" and "Destiny." I'm pretty open minded and tried to spin the book towards my belief system but I couldn't get interested. I couldn't finish it. Maybe the print version would be better because you can treat the book like a journal or a workbook.

Okay but not great.
Revisado: 09-28-17
It read like a modern self help book. Lots of inspirational quotes and stories but nothing to deep. When I listened, it felt like I was listening to cliff notes from other great Buddhist Authors.
The Jonathon Todd Ross did a very good job with narration and the audio was easy to listen too.
I would recommend this book to someone who hasn't read a lot of other Buddhist studies and modern Buddhist authors. It does have a lot of "practice" chapters to help with meditation and mindfulness.

Compelling with a few dry moments
Revisado: 01-19-17
The Dalai Lama is a great teacher and a wealth of knowledge. Keeping in tone with his usual writing style the Dalai Lama share a lot of history and supporting information in this book. I personally get lost in the information and usually have to restart chapters to capture any missed information.
This may book should also be read because it is informative like a school textbook.
The Narrator Gabra Zackman did an excellent job of accomplishing the difficult task of pronouncing all the names of the ancient Buddhist teachers and their language.
