In FINDING THE BRIGHT SIDE, Shannon Bream show us in a vulnerable way, with both successes and disappointments, to have the courage to pursue our God-given dreams. "Life is an adventure," Shannon encourages. Dreaming of ways to use our talents and dreams in a way that improves the quality of life for those we are blessed to influence. Who we choose to become is more important that what we do. As a psychiatrist, I loved the lessons readers will learn about overcoming our "limitations," with God's help and guidance, to find the bright side as we fulfill our dreams.

As a psychiatrist I am often asked this question with tears in their eyes, their lives feeling meaningless. "It doesn't really matter!" I reply, surprised looks on their faces. Before my statement has time to be misinterpreted to mean that their lives didn't matter, I follow it quickly with "who do you want to be? What would your dream-life look like?" ASK, by Mark and Crystal Hansen, clearly shows--in story form--how we can CHOSE to develop our dreams into meaning lives.
Paul Meier MD, Founder of the nation chain of non-profit Meier Clinics, fulfilling my own God-given dreams at age 16 as the son of a carpenter and a 3rd grade educated but loving Mom who worked as a maid.
