★★★★★ "This Book Might Reshape Your Theology!" The author causes us to stop and consider who we really are in Christ. The very idea that “You are gods” sounds heretical to most people, yet that fact is woven throughout scripture. The natural mind cannot understand spiritual reality, as a result many will reject the message contained in this book. Much of what Mr. Steele talks about are hidden truths the Holy Spirit has been trying to teach me for over a half century...and most of his thoughts are documented in scripture. If you’re interested in stepping beyond the veil of ...

Wonder
Revisado: 02-24-25
Ever wonder about the time during the transition of the common eras? This book narrates how one lady felt during that patriarchal age in the land of Israel. I believe her parents would have fit in to what contemporary people call the jewish aristocracy that remained subservient to Rome. It may have been several millennia ago. But the issues that people face are much the same. The story tells of Joanna, a woman who approaches the intimidating king and deals with her own personal tragedies.

EXPERIENCE THE PASSION WEEK Having grown up in the impoverished lower city of Jerusalem, Shamira is no stranger to injustice at the hands of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Her family is shunned by many in the Jewish community who believe that their misfortune in life is the result of a secret sin. Rumors are spreading of a nearby healer with incredible abilities; if the stories are true, then the Messiah may be near, and Shamira will stop at nothing in the pursuit of a miracle. Asa spends every day at the temple under the tutelage of his strict father, an elite Levite priest who enforces the ...

Famtastic Book
Revisado: 10-10-24
I read the Publisher's review. But the review didn't do this book justice. This is the story of a family who lived during the time of Jesus. As a cultural expose, the writing is very informative. The several families have members who are more difficult and those members who are easier to get along with. Some of the characters are more difficult than others while others are more encouraging. Much as is today. How the families react to the public discourse of Jesus is most interesting.
Although I am not a fan of virtual voice, it was not too challenging to discern what the author was trying to say.

Slow Start
Revisado: 02-09-24
Although it took me a while to get into this long book, it was well worth it. Obviously as a work of fiction, who knows how similar the story is to the Apostle Luke's life. Luke was very tedious in his writing, Through this proposed story, one can understand why this was true.
