Historia
In the resplendence of William the Conqueror's London court, the lovely Saxon captive, Nicholaa was forced to choose a husband from the assembled Norman nobles. She chose Royce, a baron warrior whose fierce demeanor could not conceal his chivalrous and tender heart. Resourceful, rebellious and utterly naive, Nicholaa vowed to bend Royce to her will, despite the whirlwind of feelings he aroused in her.

Did not like the narrator
Revisado: 12-26-23
I have read this book numerous times and loved the story. I felt the narrator really shouldn’t have narrated for this book. The heroine came across as whinny and not quite intelligent. She seemed bossy, ancient and unlikable. Her husband seemed weak willed and as if she bullied him, and all because of the narration. When reading the book myself, the hero (Royce) was very masculine. The heroine (Nickola) was feminine but clever. That didn’t come across when this narrator read the story. I’ll probably just stick to rereading the book rather than listen to this narration.

Historia
In A Skeptic's Guide to the Universe, the first audiobook in the Skeptic's Guide series, Bill and Gayle Gladstone are introduced to Marisa Moris for the first time and are amazed by the lessons learned. Although some of Marisa's channeling is directed specifically to Bill and Gayle, the lessons are universal. The depth and breadth of universal laws and truths are clearly outlined in easy-to-follow examples on subjects from the soul plane to the Mayan calendar to the Darwinian perspective and even the civilization of Tiahuanaco.

The readers just skipped around so much it was very difficult to follow. I wasn’t able to complete listening. I tried really hard to listen, but just wasn’t able to.
