Historia
Wren Blythe has long enjoyed being among the Northwoods, helping her father with programming at a youth camp. But when a little girl in the area goes missing, an all-out search ensues, reviving the decades-old campfire story of Ava Coons, the murderess, who still roams the woods. Joining the search, Wren stumbles upon the Coons cabin ruins and a rotting porcelain doll. But even more terrifying is seeing her name etched on the doll's foot like a sinister omen.

Great Story and Characters
Revisado: 05-09-24
I love Jaime Jo Wright's books and this story is one of her best. A campfire ghost story based on a real woman from the past, the real story of that woman, the present day story of a woman named Arwen from the Lord of the Rings, kidnapping, murder, and how it all ties together. The book is easy to follow, and the narrator is also great.

Historia
A haunting prophecy upended his identity. Now, it demands his life. Once a formidable bounty hunter, Marco Dusan is plagued by insecurity as he tours the realm he now rules. This quiet, backwater planet is not as untouched as he'd once thought. Evidence of collusion between Droseran factions and the powerful Symmachians with their forbidden technology litters his encounters.

Awesome Book and Series

Loved this book as much as the first and can't wait to read the next one! As someone else said Marco's overlong pitty party was a little wearying, but not enough to dock any stars. Such a great story and characters as well as the narration. Adam Gold is a master narrator and really makes the book come alive.
