Good Read , hard to get past voice
Revisado: 02-07-25
While this was my first time starting this series I should have read it, It was hard to get past Feyra's voice that came off puny whiny and pathetic at times. Just not how i would imagine her, I'll def continue the series as it was entertaining. I'd recommend.

Historia
Learn to find and play the role God wants most for you to play, not the ones you feel pressured into playing for the sake of others or even our sense of accomplishment and worth. Most of us spend a lot of our lives figuring out when to say yes and when to say no. How to manage our time, reduce stress, do our best for our families, find a little space for "me". But we don't find space for our souls until we learn to step past the yes and no of daily decisions and seek a third option: the best yes. The best yes is the choice that shapes all our other choices.

Great principles in the midst of many unrelatable
Revisado: 08-10-20
Great principles in the midst of many unrelatable examples and too “mushy” motherhood stories. I’m a 27yo female and as much as I loved the principles I often found
Myself saying huh or laughing at the silly trivial issues that she listed. Overall good but got a little hard to get thru in some

Historia
Break the romantic bond with your narcissistic ex for good! As a survivor of narcissistic abuse, Jess DeWitt writes in a witty, in-your-face tone about eliminating the narcissist from your life for good. Through anecdotes and inspiring tips, DeWitt makes you realize three things about yourself that you might not have known: you are bigger than your urge to keep in contact with the narcissist, you hold the key for getting true "Revenge" on the narcissist, and your time is much too valuable to be wasting on someone like him.

May change but so far
Revisado: 07-14-20
Half way thru & So far I’m a little disappointed, while the author has many good points Im not relating a lot. My ex is a lot of things and has some dark dark qualities, however putting down my physical appearance was never one, if I were to go to the hospital over stress he wouldn’t feel “triumphant” or more powerful over me, doesn’t talk down to service staff or cashiers, he didn’t ridicule me physically. There’s a lot of things I just hear and shake my head like nope doesn’t apply but nonetheless still good points. I think everyone’s situation is different and maybe my ex has narcissistic tendencies but is not a full blown narcissist which is what the book focuses on so far.
