story started off strong and right at the end it ruins it for me. I didn't find it fun or intresting or witty I just found it hurtful. it reads as if the story should have been longer and the author decided to wrap it up quick and fast. I feel personally jaded and the ending kinda ruins the whole story for me and I'm just left mad instead of satisfied.

I'm not sure if I wanted MORE or less of this but that first chapter ending had me giggling and ruined my breakfast.

Performance is amazing and while I believe the core of the story is great it was just increasingly harder and harder to listen too and I understand that's the point. if you've watched the Orphan this is about the same with the constant "child acting bad in front of mom but good in front of dad'. Its a great book for the half I could stand but it just got so frustrating and made me feel so bad I had to drop it.

90% of this book is the exact same information and description repeated over and over again. it reads like a high-school essay desperately trying to hit the required word count. Non of the characters feel or speak real. Nothing is thrilling, suspenseful or horrific and it's just dull. The entire story doesn't even take place in 48 hours and the author somehow made it feel empty AND rushed. heavily disappointed even knowing this was an ARG hype grab.

if I have to hear another analogy about how comfortable Issac is I swear

like most Ania's work, I am always at a take or leave it approach.
I heavily enjoyed this book, far more then The Seed I read/listened to prior.

The use of the same narrator is a welcomed familiar choice but I always feel as if they are just too...try hard. and thats how most Ahlborn books feel like. Try Hards to be uber edgy and spooky, gritty and coarse. I've found that re reading the books vs listening to the audio makes the story better for me and rhats the experience I've had with most her stories.

the story goes from captivating and then deeply dips off, it took me maybe a month to finish this one with how often it would get slow, narrative repetitive, and quiet frankly boring. While I can appreciate the amount of description she puts into setting a scene and how vividly she can get across the image, it truly gets exhausting after a while. Most of this book felt like run on narratives of framed art work and less of the story.

Sir Geno Samuel narrates this book in the most soothing way one could hear. His voice is a treasure to those of us who are blessed to hear it and it fits so well with the outstanding writing Super Mega Saves The Troops is filled with. The was in which scenes are painstakingly detailed, as well as Geno's other wordily pronunciation makes me feel as if I was actual within the world described to me.

This book should, in all words, be a New York Times Best Seller, and Geno himself deserves every ounce of love and admiration for his vocal performance. I look so forward to more from both Geno and the literary geniuses that are, Matt Watson and Ryan Magee
