Historia
Stan McChrystal served for 34 years in the US Army, rising from a second lieutenant in the 82nd Airborne Division to a four-star general, in command of all American and coalition forces in Afghanistan. During those years he worked with countless leaders and pondered an ancient question: "What makes a leader great?" He came to realize that there is no simple answer. McChrystal profiles 13 famous leaders from a wide range of eras and fields - from corporate CEOs to politicians and revolutionaries. He uses their stories to explore how leadership works in practice.

Fantastic for introspective leaders
Revisado: 01-16-23
I love that this book never says what’s good or bad leader simply is but instead focuses broadly on what it means to be a leader and different kind of leadership. I was gripped through most of the book, as the stories of the different leaders and their conclusion was interesting and educational. My only frustration is that I left the book with more questions than answers, as much of the book is about challenging existing beliefs instead of replacing; however it was wholly a worth while experience and I would recommend to now or experienced leaders alike.

Historia
Richard H. Thaler has spent his career studying the radical notion that the central agents in the economy are humans - predictable, error-prone individuals. Misbehaving is his arresting, frequently hilarious account of the struggle to bring an academic discipline back down to earth - and change the way we think about economics, ourselves, and our world.

It is the story of behavioral economics
Revisado: 02-04-18
Very well written and read. More a story with lessons than behavioral economics 101, which is what I was expecting. Loved it though it was not my expectation

Historia
Finally, we are learning that simplicity equals sanity. We’re rebelling against technology that’s too complicated, DVD players with too many menus, and software accompanied by 75-megabyte “read me” manuals. The iPod’s clean gadgetry has made simplicity hip. But sometimes we find ourselves caught up in the simplicity paradox: we want something that’s simple and easy to use, but also does all the complex things we might ever want it to do.

Get past the start and be impressed
Revisado: 12-11-17
The beginning seems pretentious but the 'meat' of the book is filet mignon.
My brother and I started listening during a long car ride, which soon led to us mocking the early oversimplification of the book which made the author sound more like a college student trying to sound smart than an enlightened author. But once the ideas of the book start flowing, we become deeply in love with the author's honest thoughts. Often he recognizes the over simplification and balances them with stories of success and failures of simplification. By the end, the over simplification at the beginning is repeated and each worded meant something.
So I recommend this book whole-heartedly to anyone in marketing or engineering as a way to improve your craft.

Historia
While building the Virgin Group over 40 years, Richard Branson has never shied away from seemingly outlandish challenges that others (including his own colleagues on several occasions) considered sheer lunacy. He has taken on giants like British Airways and won, and monsters like Coca-Cola and lost. Now Branson gives an inside look at his strikingly different swashbuckling style of leadership.

Both an Amazing Story and Narration
Revisado: 07-26-16
First off, the narration is fantastic. I don't know Richard Branson's real voice, but his excitement and emotions show through the narration.
As a book, the story is wonderful for anyone interested in business and leadership. Richard has some amazing advice mixed with some of the most fun stories I have ever listened to.
