Bland!

Let's face it. We would not be 'fans' of historical romances if we were deterred by repetitive plots and contrived and formulaic story lines. So what does that leave? Narration, (so I chose Alex Wyndham How could I go wrong) and character development. Yikes!
Both main character are equally lack luster. No chemistry. No sparkle. No witty repartee. I cant even picture her as beautiful, despite the many times we are told she is. Instead of both of them I see a pinched lip, scowling face scold and him, a singularly uninteresting ...? I can't even remember his title.
Don't waste a credit. This belongs on the Plus catalog list.
