When the Luidaeg - October "Toby" Daye's oldest and most dangerous ally - tells her the time has come for the Selkies to fulfill their side of the bargain, and that Toby must be a part of the process, Toby can't refuse. Literally. The Selkies aren't the only ones in debt to the Luidaeg, and Toby has to pay what she owes like anyone else.

Amazing, like always

I won’t give away parts of the book but once again both Seanan McGuier and Robinette Kowal made an amazing work of art. I am also thrilled that the Novella is included in the audiobook version! That is my only disappointment in that I listen to the books vs read them is that I miss out on the Novellas at times.
