Sorry... Really? Thrust? Anyway, Danny Kendrick was a down-on-his luck performer who always struggled to find his place. He certainly never wanted to be a hero. He just hoped to earn a living doing what he loved. That all changes when he pisses off the wrong guy and gets sucked into a fantasy realm straight out of a Renaissance Fair. Getting used to a new world is tough. It's even tougher when you're surrounded by axe-wielding barbarians, super hot elf assassins, strange magic, and a jaded System that doesn't appear interested in being charged with yet another companion.

Better than expected!
Revisado: 03-18-25
Starts of a bit slow, with lots of yelling! But the slow building of the world really grows on you, and the characters feel like old friends by the end. It’s a really fun litRPG. I LOVE the concept of a BARD thrust into the role of an Unexpected Hero!

Historia
Finite games, like football or chess, have known players, fixed rules, and a clear endpoint. The winners and losers are easily identified. Infinite games, games with no finish line, like business or politics, or life itself, have players who come and go. The rules of an infinite game are changeable, while infinite games have no defined endpoint. There are no winners or losers - only ahead and behind. The question is, how do we play to succeed in the game we’re in? In this revelatory new audiobook, Simon Sinek offers a framework for leading with an infinite mindset.

A Beautiful New Vision for Business (and Humanity)
Revisado: 11-24-21
A good company thinks in generations. This is the difference between a finite mindset and an infinite one.
"...a company with growth as the goal is like a person who eats to get fat."
Money is not the goal. Money is how we make our vision a living reality.
Listen to The Infinite Game by Simon Sinek on Audible!
It's revolutionary.

Historia
After the untimely death of his mentor, Berkeley physicist Joshua Andrews has dedicated himself to finishing his mentor’s life work: Creating entangled particles that can communicate faster than light. When scientific journalist Rachael Miller comes to interview him at his lab, they make an astounding discovery, one as ancient as the universe itself. During the early moments of the Big Bang, entangled particles were created that spread with the expansion of the universe creating a subatomic communication network - a network that Joshua and Rachael have accidentally tapped into.

Thought Provoking
Revisado: 05-28-21
Kishore’s novel is original, thought provoking and moving. Some of the characters are immature, but they take on a life of their own after a while. The concepts presented in New Eden are deeply beautiful and emotionally moving. I really appreciate how Tipirneni writes within the realm of plausible science and weaves conversation about God and consciousness into a science based novel about the mystery of life and the meaning of information.
There are many science fiction books that I read which are entertaining but are obviously (to me) written by computer scientists. I’ve always wondered what concepts would be treated differently if the book was written by a physician instead of a computer scientist. Kishore Tipirneni is both a medical doctor and a computer scientist and I believe having both these backgrounds allows him to take information theory and biology equally seriously without one diminishing or overshadowing the role of the other.
This is quite a unique book!
