Historia
When Navy SEAL Adam Brown woke up on March 17, 2010, he didn’t know he would die that night in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan - but he was ready: In a letter to his children, not meant to be seen unless the worst happened, he wrote, "I’m not afraid of anything that might happen to me on this earth, because I know no matter what, nothing can take my spirit from me."

One Word...Wow
Revisado: 03-29-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I'd recommend this book to ANYONE! Hope, Faith, Inspiration, Character, Perserverance... It's all there.
What other book might you compare Fearless to and why?
The only other biography that has touched me like this one was "God's Smuggler", the story of Brother Andrew.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely
Any additional comments?
I literally have several hundred books in my library and I've listened to them all at least once and several more than once. I must say that in all my listening over the last 4-5 years this book is easily in the top 3. Honestly, it is one of the most amazing stories I've ever read and Adam Brown is the prime example of making the most of a life that looked almost hopeless. I was glued to this book. I have a new respect for our military and the men and women who serve in it. I will be listening to this again and pushing it on anyone who will listen. The story of Adam's life has me reanalyzing mine.

Historia
Leaving the Saints is an unforgettable memoir about one woman's spiritual quest and journey toward faith. As "Mormon royalty" within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Martha Beck was raised in a home frequented by the Church's high elders, known as the apostles, and her existence was framed by their strict code of conduct.

I Should've Listened to the Negative Reviews
Revisado: 01-03-11
I got about one hour into this book and couldn't take any more. I thought it would be useful information about the Mormon cult, but this lady is in the clouds. If you were looking for some way to waste $20 or one of your credits then, by all means, snag this one.

Awesome book, different narrator please
Revisado: 08-25-09
This book made me cry through the last 30 minutes. It is a well told story that I couldn't put down. The narrator, on the other hand, was annoying. He tried much too hard on the southern accents and most of them came out sounding like those comedians that make fun of rednecks. It was pretty bad and I'm not that hard to impress as far as narration goes. Just read the book.

Historia
Night after night Mike and Sam found their beds under bridges and on the streets. They were forced to depend on the generosity and kindness of strangers as they panhandled to sustain their existence. For more than five months, the pair experienced firsthand the extreme pains of hunger, the constant uncertainty and danger of living on the streets, exhaustion, depression, and social rejection-and all of this by their own choice.

Raw Faith

Absolutely amazing! I truelly felt what these guys experienced. They took what God gave them and gently evangelized people whom most of us ignore. All the while they lived a peasants existence for the cause. This book is well written and really fun to read. I just couldn't wait to hear what happened next. What struck me was that even though they sat out on a journey to find something for themselves, the real prize was the fact that they touched so many others in the process. Makes me want to find my own mission for the cause of Christ. I'll pray about it.
