What made the experience of listening to Necroscope the most enjoyable?
The narration by James Langton, in my opinion, was right on the mark for the different characters in the book. Brian Lumley paints a very vivid picture in one's mind's eye where you can visualize the worldand let your imagination run wild.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Necroscope?
Some of the most memorable moments in the novel is where Harry is talking to the dead thing in the ground, that old devil.
Which character – as performed by James Langton – was your favorite?
The old devil in the ground had to be my most favorite character of the book. He is sly, cunning, whimsical at times and not to mention fiendishly evil all of the time.
If you could take any character from Necroscope out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Since I really enjoyed the old thing in the ground I believe going out to dinner with the old devil would certainly be entertaining, however; I do believe that I would become dinner if that were ever to be the case… LOL
Any additional comments?
In the early 80s while I was in the military I read the complete Necroscope series.I hope Audible will very soon release the other six or seven novels in the series. I believe it may come soon because the others are already released in the German version. I do highly recommend this book, and if you downloaded and enjoyed it is much as I do please rate it and ask Audible to get the rest of the series out here for us.
