Historia
The paths of Roboute Guilliman and his fallen brother Mortarion bring them inexorably together on Iax. Once a jewel of the Imperium, the garden world is dying as the plans of the Lord of Death to use it as a fulcrum to drag the stellar realm of Ultramar into the warp come to deadly fruition. While Guilliman attempts to prevent the destruction of his kingdom, Mortarion schemes to bring his brother low with the Godblight, a disease created in the Cauldron of Nurgle itself, made with the power to destroy a son of the Emperor.

I enjoyed the books and the stories. The set up has been solid. Though I am reminded that the mechanicus are border line traitors and the black Templar chapter are truly too fanatical.

Historia
The Carcharodons’ remit is an unenviable one – this Chapter of Space Marines plies the dark areas of space, endlessly hunting down the enemies of mankind. Living on the edge, with no fixed base of operations, they are creatures shaped by their environment, renowned for their ruthlessness and their brutality. With a fresh wave of tyranid hive fleets approaching the galactic plane, the Carcharodons decide to use the world of Piety V as a bulwark. If they can stop the xenos here, they will be able to end the menace before it begins.

Overall I think it's not too bad of a story. It gives a reminder that not all astartes chapters are ones that you want to have show up to your home planet.

Historia
For too long had the Vth Legion ranged out beyond the sight of the wider Imperium, remaining ignorant of the Warmaster's rebellion and the war that inevitably followed. Only once their primarch, Jaghatai Khan, had satisfied himself that the path before them was just and true did the White Scars choose a side, taking the fight to the traitors on every front.

intriguing
Revisado: 10-06-24
I liked the stories that were told throughout this book. The stubbornness of the 5th primarch to try to slow the invasion of Terra and the final loss of his roots to his homeworld.

Imo it was a good story. A bit of intrigue, more proof that the dark angels should barely ever be trusted by their cousins or the emperium of man.

Not for a non fan of the Deathcorp.
Revisado: 07-28-24
I have liked forward to a story about the siege of Vraks for years. I can say that this has solidified for me that I personally do not like the Deathcorp of Krieg. For some reason I was able to fill myself into thinking they were a pretty cool out though imperial guard unit, but aside from the first book I just can't do it man.

Historia
In the darkness beyond the galaxy, there are monsters. Some swim closer to the light, drawn by the beacon that is the Astronomican, while others stalk the Void, predators in the dark. The Carcharodons have hunted for millennia, but now they are drawn into a new blackness...the Dark City of the drukhari itself. Commorragh. For a thousand years, Chaplain Tangata Manu has searched for a relic lost under his watch: an ancient thing, once charged into the keeping of the Forgotten One himself. But at the brink of seeing his hunt fulfilled and the relic returned, it is stolen from under him.

Historia
Terra is besieged. The outcome of the war lies on a knife edge. The Warmaster Horus’ bloody seven-year crusade has led to this – the cradle of humanity, where he is to kill his father, the Emperor. With the war at this critical juncture, Sanguinius, primarch of the loyalist Blood Angels, braves the horrors of the Warmaster’s flagship, The Vengeful Spirit, with a single purpose in mind – to slay his brother Horus, decapitate the Heresy once and for all, and stop the forces of Chaos from taking Terra.

Another great part of the end of the Horus heresy. For the people talking about the death of Sanguinious it was always going to be rough. But man that was a great show of how far Horus fell.

Historia
The walls have fallen, the gates are breached, and the defenders are slain. It is the end and the death. After seven brutal years of civil war, the Warmaster stands on the verge of victory. Horus Lupercal, once beloved son, has come to murder his father. The Emperor, a shining beacon of hope to many, an unscrupulous tyrant to others, must die. The lives of uncountable numbers have been extinguished and even primarchs, once thought immortal, have been laid low. The Emperor's dream lies in tatters, but there remains a sliver of hope.

Revisado: 05-17-24
I really enjoyed this book. Hearing Malcador trying to get the emperor to take action against his fallen son/ weapon, the long trek of Vulkan back to the throne. It is just a very enjoyable listen. The insight of showing that Horus really want himself and that he was just a puppet of the Chaos good/ demons. Abaddon truly seeing how far his legion and gene sire have fallen. These are insights that I never truly realized could explain so much about the characters. I'm very much looking forward to the last to books in the Horus heresy series and it gets me more ready for the return of the demon and loyal primarchs that are left alive. Great work.

This to me was an excellent story. The description of the fights between the brothers and the battles in general were dope. Listening to magnus explain his "reasoning" for the things he's done is just awesome to finally understand his thoughts.
