An adventure with values

C.J. Petit’s stories never fail to deliver the adventure you’d expect in a western. However, the relationships developed through getting to know one another, not by starting with lust . It’s that bonding which creates love that lasts. Unlike other westerns that end with the hero riding off into the sunset at times there may a companion.
Petit’s books in the epilogue provides details of the love they shared and the family they shared.
I strongly recommend any of the many books

He’d been riding west for a few hours with his packhorse in tow when he noticed a set of wagon tracks heading northwest that appeared to be just a couple of days old. It raised his curiosity, and as the tracks were going in the direction he was headed anyway, he followed.

Once again he gives the reader another action filled story that emphasizes values and commitment.
He also always provides an epilogue that lets the reader know what happens beyond the story’s ending.
Like Paul McCartney says “what’s wrong with filling the world with silly love songs”. In this case stories.

I love nearly everything Zane Gray writes. This one is no exception and my wife and I agree one of his best.
He could’ve used the exclamation “ejaculate” a little less, however.
