Historia
In the deathly realm of Shyish, the Twinned Towns of Westreach and Eastdale exist on the edge of annihilation. Once in each generation, the hosts of Lady Olynder rise from their tombs to slaughter the towns’ inhabitants, and for centuries the nighthaunts have been turned back, but only after the fiercest of battles. Now, the wizards in the ancient Belvegrod lighthouse have deciphered a prophetic vision that offers a chance to break the curse placed upon the city.

A deadly quest to lift a curse
Revisado: 11-20-20
I was not prepared for the quality of this book. It is fantastic from start to finish with so many twists to change up the flow. Not a single moment felt lacking. This was not marketed to me as a horror novel but this is the first book to inspire dread and disgust within me. I can not recommend this book enough!

I came into this book expecting a basic Space Marine novel. This book moved me beyond words with every chapter. I experienced such a range of emotions and felt connected to each character no matter how prominent of a role. Please do you yourself a favour a listen to this book, Jonathan Keeble is brilliant in every book her narrates!

Even better than the first!
Revisado: 08-21-20
The idea of a James Bond style intrigue novel in the 41st millennium was an excellent start point. It was the strength that the first book Xenos was based off of. Malleus takes that idea to a whole new level with the introduction of deep morality choices and whether ends can justify means. All of the strong points that i expected from the first novel are here with so much more on top. This goes far beyond a Warhammer book, it becomes a class of its own!

Gotrek is back in glory
Revisado: 07-29-20
I was certainly hesitant about this story. The scale of the Mortal Realms and the lack of Felix seemed far too much. I am overjoyed to be proven wrong. Though i still miss Felix and hope to see him return someday, I've grown very attached to Gotrek's new companions. Speaking of, Gotrek is an excellent taste of the Old World in the Mortal Realms. The story told had excellent pacing and blended comedy, intrigue, and action brilliantly. I really cared about the supporting characters. I cannot wait to see where this adventure goes!

Historia
Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between and depends entirely upon whom you ask. Seeking to undermine the very fabric of the Empire with their arcane warp-sorcery, the skaven, twisted Chaos rat-men, are at large in the reeking sewers beneath the city. Led by Grey Seer Thanquol, the servants of the Horned Rat are determined to overthrow this bastion of humanity. Against such forces, what possible threat can just two hard-bitten adventurers pose?

Has It All
Revisado: 07-17-20
This book has all the makings of a great fantasy novel. Well paced, excellent world building, likable (or unlikable) characters that are fleshed out well. This book is perfect for Warhammer or general fantasy fans alike!

Nobleman, dashing officer, and paragon of selfishness, Captain Jezal dan Luthar has nothing more dangerous in mind than fleecing his friends at cards and dreaming of glory in the fencing circle. Best Characters in a fantasy setting
Revisado: 06-01-20
I am a firm believer that this series will stand with the great classics for its work on world and character building. I lived this story from start to finish and never once felt removed. It absolutely must be said that the narrator did a flawless job at delivering this world.
