Historia
It’s time to save Cinderella! Ready for a radical statement? Disney princesses aren’t anti-feminist. Until the 1990s, Disney princesses were role models for little girls, teaching them how to grow up into strong, centered, moral women. But then something terrible happened. A vocal minority of viewers and film critics (let’s call them “princess critics”) got hold of the narrative. They called Disney princesses “drips”, said they were “boring”, and boiled their dreams down to “husband hunting”.

A must read for mothers!

Faith does an excellent job of bringing to light that fairy tales are symbols not real life. When you start thinking they are real and change them to meet reality then well that’s when problems arise. Amazing job!

When overachiever Leena Cotton is ordered to take a two-month sabbatical after blowing a big presentation at work, she escapes to her grandmother Eileen's house for some long-overdue rest. Eileen is newly single and about to turn 80. She'd like a second chance at love, but her tiny Yorkshire village doesn't offer many eligible gentlemen. So they decide to try a two-month swap. But stepping into one another's shoes proves more difficult than either of them expected. Will swapping lives help Eileen and Leena find themselves...and maybe even find true love?

A great Feel Good Story
Revisado: 07-15-23
I absolutely loved how this book was narrated. The fact that two different women played each main character helped someone like me visualize them in my mind. The plot was super cute and had a great ending, declaring that no matter what family is always there for you and important to have around. Can’t wait to start another Beth O’Leary Novel.
