I was surprised at the rawness of this story tale. however, it was well written. I could clearly see the characters like i was there. better than a movie. beautiful ending.

I almost scrapped this book because . I already "know" it all . I was looking for something new & different.
OK, so I listened.
As someone pushing eighty, been around the block and back. again, and again. I realized why my life was less than wonderful , for the most part, as I "knew" it could be. well, just read it, or listen (even better), as though you know nothing... Come, with holy empty hands, unto your God. as the human doing you are.

Eckart has gone above & beyond his wonderful book, "The Power of Now". This book will (if reader/listener is willing & ready to be gut-level honest with him/her self) change your negative out & in look on everything . I have studied all the spiritual books that I know of and have never heard anyone explain the spiritual, human condition, and life the way this beautiful man has done in this book. if your tired of suffereing and trying to " figure it out" and open & ready to evolve spiritually & and in every way, you NEED this book. I call it a spiritual transfusion.

Eckart takes us through the spiritual journey. his answers to those who asked was clearly helpful. anyone who is searching for the truth or just has the desire to become enlightened, should listen to this book. It is more than a five star. book.

EXCELLENCE!

Shirley MacLaine did a beautiful job introducing an enormous amount of information; covering many and various subjects/topics - and touching on most.
A book well written & read by the eccentric author ; which is almost as impressive, to me, as the contents. I LOVE her no-nonsense interaction with life in general and people in particular. she is an icon who will enhance anyone's life who is (even a little bit ) interested in spiritually evolving ... or just waking from the dream state. I have been intrigued by her since the movie "Some Came Running", because I observed a diamond in the rough becoming polished; which she stripped & sanded over the years to become REAL! And appear to be polished when neccessary.
Shirley MacLaine is, in my opinion, the most versatile, open, honest, secure, talented and aware person I have ever observed.
The only thing I have left on my "bucket list" is to meet her.
This book is only one of her many excellent pieces of art.
If I had to choose one thing to say about this book it would be this:
I was looking for intertainment (a break from listening to and reading hundreds of serious 'self-help' and esoteric books) and what I received is both!

A wonderful courageous man, with gut - level honesty. Very well written book. He held my interest from beginning to end. I'm impressed he read it himself; gave me the opportunity to discern his authenticity. The world needs a million more like him.
