Listen up, kid. My name is Dr. Cecil H.H. Mills. I’m the author of this book and many other ones that you might not have heard of. This book is about two idiot wannabe detective-types. Their names are J.J. and Valentine Watts, but I’m not sure if they’re actually brothers or not. They make a friend; her name is Trudi de la Rosa. She’s a wannabe detective-type too, but honestly, she’s less of an idiot than the brothers.

The author and narrator, 'Dr. Cecil H.H. Mills' does a fantastic job of intertwining storytelling and timely breaks of the 4th wall, creating an immersive yet fully aware narrative that is so well performed that I'm still not sure whether or not he was the only voice actor in this audiobook. Seriously, I'm going to Google it as soon as I'm done writing this review. Either way, his performance as not only one, or two, but all 7 of the "main" characters of this novel is worthy of all the praises I can sing, and then some because I'm not a very good singer. 10/10
