Historia
Andre Ward was the undefeated light heavyweight boxing champion of the world when he walked away from the ring and did not look back. Now that he has taken off his gloves for the final time, the Olympic gold medalist is ready to share the heartbreaking and uplifting stories of his formative years and unprecedented boxing career. Rich with colorful characters, fascinating detail, and biblical truths, this is the story of a man known for his integrity outside the ring, his warrior's instinct inside it, and his unrelenting bond with the God who called him to the greatest victory of all.

What a battle and success
Revisado: 12-19-23
I am a distant boxing fan not passionate about the sport but I love when people demonstrate what hard work will do and this book is a story of hard work and success through faith. I enjoyed the book and admire Mr. Ward for telling his story.

Historia
Think you know Elizabeth Pipko? Guess again. She's been described by many as a rising star in the conservative movement, but how did she get here? And more importantly, did she ever plan to? In Finding My Place, Elizabeth takes us back to the beginning. As the daughter of immigrants and a proud religious Jew, Elizabeth dives into the core of what drives her: the sacrifices of her parents and grandparents and all that they had to endure to make sure that she had the opportunity to live the American dream.

Perspective and Motivation
Revisado: 11-15-20
I follow Elizabeth on IG and always have considered a smart and bad ass person, after this book it makes me look at her in an even more bad ass way. The story of her obsession of perfecting the art of skating and persevering through injuries to have a detour made by life is just so amazing. I have learned a lot from this bad ass human. I cannot recommend this book enough to people looking for other humans as inspirations.

Historia
He's a self-described beach bum who won his houseboat in a card game. He's also a knight errant who's wary of credit cards, retirement benefits, political parties, mortgages, and television. He only works when his cash runs out, and his rule is simple: he'll help you find whatever was taken from you, as long as he can keep half.
