As always I am grateful the Narrator is continuing with this series, I still forward with series ahead of the audiobook series of The Rising of the Shield Hero. Part of the when Emperor Dragon had stole the show with this part it been great, also really sold it when Itsuki using the Curse Serious descend to madness.

Naofumi is strengthening his allies and Lurolona Village finally got Ren back although, he is dealing with curse effect from using Curse Series. It is nothing but training session and prepare for the Wave of Calamity. Valley Girl, ahem Wyndia a monster enthusiastic tries to keep things secret how she is raising monsters. Naofumi get mad annoyed with all the villagers trying to hiding things from him without his permission. New addition added Ratotille Anthreya came here for she heard of Naofumi's legendary power enhance the monsters that had been tamed are stronger than regular monster. Naofumi had question ethics about her stance which she made her case that would help them in the Waves. Fohl Fayon had to chase his sister Atla to stay way from Naofumi. Raphtalia also getting irritated by Atla's behavior because she does not like anyone getting near Naofumi. Does not help when Sadeena makes her advances upon Naofumi as well. Shieldfreeden had drop a helpful resources for them help them against the Wave of Calamity. There is this one Monster Egg that was Dragon's Egg which make everyone bit nervous of why would the Shieldfreen sent such powerful and dangerous thing to them.


Overall it was enjoyable to listen, thank you for time and talent.

Finding the Three Heroes

Honestly, I am grateful for the Narrator for his performance of all the characters gave life and vibrant got me engage with the story. Got few laughs into the story. It was convincing when Ren Amaki was deranged with his screams of rage and madness when facing Naofumi and his party. It been great performance and I am looking forward to forward more your work with the series please continue and thank you Shea Taylor.

Naofumi and his companions just returned from the Zeltoble after winning the slaves back from the village of Lurolona. Although, it was far from over Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo are still suffering the curse that halved their base stats. They got new party member along the way with recent addition to the party Sadeena. Preparing for the upcoming Phoenix along with Wave of Disaster. Naofumi is pressured to find the heroes as soon possible and make them use the powerup methods to face the deadly wave. Naofumi once more went to see if there was more slaves to get help to restore the village that he currently protecting. Beloukas and his nephew is offering news slave to buy to bring back the village. Naofumi's instinct kicks in to notice that there was some slaves that were too cheerful to see him and be brought. Naofumi demand to why some of these slaves to Beloukas that are too eager be brought. To Naofumi's dismay heard that some of the fake slaves are from Siltvelt and Shieldfreeden for political marriages. This aggravate Naofumi with the constant insistence with this and had no time for that although, he get harass about Naofumi's relationship status especially some of his party members and mostly Sadeena.

To his displeasure he often brushes off this subject focus at the matter at hand brought two special slaves are name Fohl and Atla that are half Hakuko are like white tigers. Hearing about their how legendary their strength are formidable can be use in field of battle. The girl named Atla is sick with disease that she does not have long to live. However had an fable medication called Elixir of Yggdrasil that was unlock when getting Spirit Tortoise materials to his shield. Atla is peculiarly moved by Naofumi's kindness despite her being blind yet she can see things most can't see like energy sensing. Naofumi is bit taken back by her observation but regardless he give her that medication that help her and took her and his brother with them to village. Slowly recovering Atla show promise along with her brother Fohl will to help Naofumi and his party. There was an opportunity that some of the villagers want to their level rests to give hero boost stats even Sadeena, Atla, and Fohl agree to undergo the process. Atla had gradually is infatuated with Naofumi and wanted to be his shield to protect him. Fohl does not like how close is Atla to Naofumi and mostly certainly this bothers Raphtalia as well. Once they met up with Queen once they finished the Level rests they encounter King Trash wanted to attack Naofumi but saw Atla in way made him retreat. The Queen explained that Atla is living image of his decease sister and this suprised Naofumi and his party.

Naofumi had been given report that Spear Hero is going back in town find some of his surviving member name Elena turnout she was deserter when after the incident of the Spirit Tortoise flee seeing how weak Motoyasu. Immediately Motoyasu teleported away to escape when seeing Naofumi and his party. Naofumi cursed when Motoyasu escaped however, he had to continue his effort of searching them. There was commotion that there was Ren Amaki who trying cash in his bounty of capturing the bandits however, the guild look at him with utter ill-contempt. Ren was trying to explained that it was legitimate but the guild did not believe him. Naofumi appeared out of the crowd to help out Ren with his troubles after all he trying to help for seeing Ren is worse for wear. Naofumi agrees to hear out Ren after going to tavern what had happened to him after the incident of the Spirit Tortoise. Ren had wanted to get ahead of Naofumi to prove he is better than him which ultimately was reckless that resulted his companions perishing. Ren refuse to take responsibility for their deaths for they were weak this did not sit right with Naofumi hearing that but had to bite his tongue for trying to appease Ren. However, Naofumi thought saw Motoyasu passing by which he had to convince Ren to say where he is at to find Motoyasu to get him. To his utter distain he not only found Motoyasu he found that psychopath redhead seducing low spirit Ren to her side. Naofumi wanted to intervene but Motoyasu was outrage by this blatant lie of Malty, Naofumi seeing his efforts were going to hell that psycho that he dubbed her Witch who wanted nothing to but destroy people's lives with no remorse, Naofumi greatly desire to murder Malty to bring end to all of this but Ren refuse to allow that for he blindly help Malty. Motoyasu is state of despair and confusion which did not help the matter.

I have been wanting this audiobook light Trapped in Dating Sim series for months. Finally got my wish, plus narrator had complimented the story of the characters. The tone how depicted Leon Bartfort is the highlight got me invested. Yung-I Chang has impressed of how well research with characters of story was great. I am looking for him to continue with the series.

The Fantastical world of Roshar

I had friend who had introduce me to these series to me, which gave me an opportunity to read and listen to this audiobook. "Storm it!" I was caught in turbulence storm of the world of Roshar. The intriguing mysteries of the world and supposed betrayal of Heralds of Radiances that departed to their own paths. An assassin who wore a white clothes that would be unfeasible even ill-advised unless you absolutely confident or arrogant to pull it off. But it was said that people has a right to know who going to kill the individual and reason of why. Szeth was no ordinary assassin he was Shardbearer that weapon that can kill person who came contact with its blade. His mission was to kill the king of Alethi named Gavilar Kholin. Many of the knights tried to stop him but it was futile as he left waves of death in blood. Gavilar had defended with all his might against him but alas he was fatally wounded before dying had a request. Szeth agrees to heard him out before leaving that king quoted from The Ways of Kings to his brother and hand over a dark sphere to him.

The characters perspectives honestly enhances the story about their motivations, beliefs, and struggles. A young man who mark of slave upon his forehead name Kaladin whose struggle is great and tragic past. That he lost himself and reason to live despite his hard heart he care deeply around him. The failures that he could not protect anyone from dying. What truly matter is how many times stand back up he meet bridge men who he was willing to save their lives that became his friends and Syl the Spren. Shallan Davar a young girl who desperate to save her family from ruination is conflicted between stealing one of powerful woman named Jasnah in the world because her soulcaster. She needed to take it use restore quandaries use of the power soulcaster to pay off the debtors. Is right to steal just because she was infamous heretic who does not believe in the Almighty for she believed that it was complete myth. It would be battle of intellect and wit between Shallan and Jasnah.

The brother of the king named, Dalinar Kholin who was remorseful and his failure not protecting his brother that fateful night he was drunk. He was not there when it matter the most. To make up for his failures for this he vows to protect his nephew along with other high princes to protect the kingdom and current King Elhokar. He had a clerk woman that read out loud the book The Ways of Kings that gradually begun to change his mindset and view of his life. To his dismay he realized that what his late brother trying to do unite the kingdom truly and change their way of life. The Thrill that delight in competition, fighting, glory, and bloodlust. Haunted by visions that supposedly given by the Almighty or delusions of his mind. He only human despite his shortcomings that tries his best to unite the Kingdom Alethkar.

I am familiar with the narrators who did the audiobook for Wheel of Time series I am grateful for their continuing works and talents of their voice bringing life into this book. Thank you.

Hero's Journey

Wow this story about how Jonnie Goodboy Taylor how seek better settlement after his father died. All familiar sentiment that there was more to life out there than staying here. Before meeting an infamous alien that was known as Psychlos that had destroyed the human civilization a thousand years ago leaving a it in desolate ruin for whatever humans are left. Terl was head security Psychlo who resent being on this backwater world and leave if he could. He was reading a book about man that used to be around say in history book used roam are Earth. Many of his Psychlos workers made fun of Terl that he was going to hunt for man because he thought about get rich and use him to his ends. When Terl set his goal he out with his plane to seek this mythical man that he believe to out here in desolate lands with his breath gas mask.

What encounter would change the fate of humans and Earth forever for it would be battle for survival and reclaim their home against Psychlos. Follow the journey of Jonnie Goodboy Taylor who have to overcome the hurdles Terl who bent on working him to the bone. Along the way Jonnie would eventually get enough information to be sneaky with his plan try to escape and return to home Chrissie and Pattie who is worried and sick for him if he does not come back within a year. It will fill with numerous suspense and tensions as well personal growth.

The audiobook with cast and soundtrack that gave me a unique cinema experience make it worth while listening. There was a lot characters that were my personal favorites; Jonnie Goodboy Taylor, Sir Rober the Fox, Ker, Chrissie, Bittie MacLeod and Terl. The cast had done an excellent job that made this world alive along with the characters and the soundtrack goes along with it. Highly recommend to listen if you are up for Sci-Fi or in it for Hero's Journey.

Goblin Slayer and the Quest of Sword Maiden

This is story about often how certain quests that get ignored like goblin slaying, because people underestimate or simply find it does not glorious. I find theme of traumas is key at least in this volume about how Goblin Slayer had to witness a terrible fate of his older sister death when he was child. Regardless that a Rhea would refute about his supposed powerlessness was truly his action to not act rather just watch it happened. Which was Goblin Slayer carries a great sense of guilt, dedication to his life in slaying every single goblins. Along away meeting Priestess, High Elf Archer, Shaman Dwarf, and Lizard Priest just become part of his part members.

Although, Goblin Slayer might be indifferent at times, eventually he would warm up into talking his companions that help him grow as person. This quest was specifically requested by an Archbishop, was famous Sword Maiden, that Goblin Slayer accepts and his party as well. Honestly what is subtle that this was a crying for help from Sword Maiden if one was truly paying attention the details about that this quest she would sent to the Guild that adventurers would ignore or accepts but never heard back ever again. This too was heartbreaking that despite her a Sword Maiden who one of the heroes who defeated Demon Lord once tremble in face of goblins that did heinous things to her.

Goblin Slayer himself nearly died when facing the dungeon where the goblin champion dealt grievous blow that shaken his party's morale. However the fate of the die that roll that make Goblin Slayer snaps to kill the goblins with merciless killings by sheer willpower despite his injuries. This instilled fear those remaining goblins in terror to fleeing not wanting stay to get killed. Priestess was also injured however, they had to rush Goblin Slayer to healer. Thanks to the Sword Maiden performing a powerful spell that revived Goblin Slayer. Raring to after once he got his equipment repaired, that Goblin Slayer is willing to see to the end of this quest.

Once completed Goblin Slayer confront Sword Maiden in why would lie about this in truth she was wanted to someone rescue her from goblins that still terrifies her. Despite that Goblin Slayer would slay goblins regardless that he will even slay goblins even her dreams. This lifts the Sword Maiden's heart a long waited relief that she will cherishes for the rest of her days.

Honestly, I love the performances of narrators that did this story and thank you for your time and talents.

Blacksmith who is truly generous

To a man who save a cat before he got killed by infamous truck to any Isekai old as time. Got reward for this to go another world with blessing of abilities be blacksmith to live a peaceful life. Now Eizo learning how to adapt when living new life and had house in dangerous forest that sort of isolated from any near civilization just nature. A fateful encounter certain beast folk that was tiger woman name Samya who was severely injured that Eizo help nursed back to health. At first she was not trusting of his intentions but in learned in time he was good man that saved her. Indebted she want to help him with his profession to his black smiting to support this household. It became a family dynamic that help one another, once Rike an dwarf woman who desired apprenticeship to be his blacksmith.

It was along a way before he start making friends along way about how start making weapons to sell make a living in market stand, That started to make whispers of how truly high quality the product of Eizo knifes that was popular among with the soldiers that a merchant trader Marius, wanted to partner with Eizo in secret as business partner to sell his blacksmith wares. Truly a story that become how Eizo become legends, how his blacksmith and generous influenced the world he would not foreseen and become series of people who benefited his blacksmith that attracted people who is truly worthy for his customized weapon to smith to those can handle the dangerous forest that he lived in.

The Narrator is good with how make this slow pace story to a slice of life to worth listening to, I am willing to continue with the series thank you for your time and talent.

Entering to the Middle-Earth and timeless tale

Andy Serkis performance was simply genius when portraying characters that are distinct when dealing with Frodo, Samwise, Pippin, Merry, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and Gandalf. World building is wonderous that often time reading mythology take me into the world. It start out when after tale of the Hobbit when Bilbo travel with Gandalf and the thirteen Dwarves of Thorin Oakenshield company to reclaim to homeland of Misty Mountains. During his travels Bilbo encounter that fateful Ring that came to him and spare Gollum and escape to live the tale of his grand adventure. Bilbo is quite a historian when researching the history of the Shire of how it came to be and the Hobbits. Bilbo was focus on finishing his manuscript sadly constantly harassed by his relatives that wanted his heirloom of his home and fable treasure,

Frodo is his nephew that will inherit everything he had but Bilbo want to go on long holiday because the Ring influence had now begun to affect him. Gandalf had convinced him to give up the Ring to entrust to Frodo and be free of the influence of the Ring that he had to long. Bilbo reluctantly relinquished it to live with Elves to the Rivendell, now Gandalf tell Frodo to leave the ring to its envelope for Gandalf going away for time and visit later for research the Ring if it was the infamous ONE RING. It was nearly nine years before Gandalf sounding urgent to take Ring to Rivendell for safety. Frodo is a reluctant but willing to bare this burden. Samwise unwittily eavesdrop on their private conversation about the ONE RING which he will become a traveling companion to Frodo. He was originally want his sudden moving out be secret but Hobbits are bit nosy with other people's business. There are already black riders wanting to know where is Baggins is. It came a chase of Cat and mouse that along the way meet with Pippin and Merry with this adventure.

With that managed to reached their destination goal but Samwise, Merry, and Pippin honorable friends they are willing to continue quest with Frodo. Eventually they would reach to the Green Dragon where suppose meet Gandalf but something obviously wrong when Gandalf is not there. There a mysterious figure which a barkeeper call a Strider that was watching a over Frodo and told him he should keep his friends from talking too much. Frodo ends up performing instead a song that he learn from Bilbo that everyone in the bar started to enjoy before he accidently misstep and slips that ONE RING went to his finger and disappeared from sight. This already alerted the spies to the Black Riders, that Aragorn told Frodo and his friends that it was time leave for it no longer safe.

Of course they would not trust Aragorn at first, before Frodo read the letter. That mention a certain man that Gandalf they can trust with lives if he not there. Aragorn a lone ranger willing to help Frodo and his friends to get to Rivendell while being chase by the Ring Wraiths. Their dismay the Ring Wraiths are gain on them before going making temporal refuge to the ruined building. Unfortunately the Ring Wraiths did caught up with Frodo and one of them injured him that quite deadly. Aragorn manage to slow the deadly poison with the herbs stop spreading quickly. Aragorn had help with Elven friend name Glorfindel to lead to the Rivendell before Frodo had final stand off with Nine Ring Wraiths before the magic of the river came crashing force washing them along with them.

Miraculous recovery thanks to Elrond healing powers to save Frodo from dying. A long needed rest after a dire journey that hospitality of Elrond that Frodo is the honored guest that will be a feast and music. The matter of the ONE RING will dealt accordingly in due time. Bilbo is happy to see Frodo again that he want to know how he was doing. After few days now they will have council with Elrond about the Ring. Men, Elves, Dwarves, and Hobbits gathered to how they will get rid of the Ring. Boromir, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and Gandalf are there to help aid the Ring Bearer to his mission as well his friends Samwise,Merry, and Pippin.

Honestly it is timeless tale of honor, heroism, duty, and destiny that this book is excellent along with the narrator performance that I would recommended a listen to.

Time to enter the Tournament in Zeltoble

I appreciate the narrator that did well with the characters such as Naofumi who had been great and consistent, with his personality at least with last two narrators throughout audiobook series of The Rising of the Shield Hero. Raphtalia had been solid her personality that she is overbearing, strict, and sincere to her character. Filo personality had been boisterous, energetic, and obnoxious at times. Sadeena is flirtatious, sweet, and mischievous that is true the character. Murder Pierrot had been soft-spoken, whimsical, and bit mysterious that voice often distorts which is interesting detail. Overall this narrator had done his research with the characters that been well been done. I grateful for the narrator performing and his time doing this audiobook thank you.

After returning from the world of Kinzuna and hard earned victory against Kyo which finally avenged Ost the Spirit Tortoise that returned to the world of Naofumi and his party originally came from. Thinking that they would have a break after taking of Kyo, just have more oppressing matters. Such as coming of the Four Beast Guardians and Wave of Disaster to prepare for and must recuperate and regain their levels once more. It been two weeks since they had been gone and return the Melromarc to report to the Queen. Things had been bad enough the three heroes had disappeared especially that psycho redhead nowhere to found.
Naofumi is exasperated with this report there no telling what disaster them roaming about. Must return to see how the restoration of Lurolona where Raphtalia was from before it demolished by the waves of disaster. Eclair who been governing while the absences of Naofumi and his party, The progress had been slow finding the original habitats of the villagers that Naofumi will need go buy the slaves back from Slave Merchant. Also with Raphtalia help to identifying because of the reputation of the Naofumi and his party of defeat the Spirit Tortoise had skyrocket the market demand of the original villagers of Lurolona. This was going be pain finding out expense it was going to be. Coliseum Tournament was the most effiect way to get money fast to obtain the Slaves of Lurolona villagers. Little to know he would be facing dangers of strong enemies and also facing the one strongest Nadia.

I love the story about the Naofumi is now be able to trust Kizuna, Glass, L'arc, and Therese after going through much trial. Now it Yomogi that she who had to admit defeat when facing Naofumi and confronting the truth about the Kyo that his intentions were sinister than she originally thought. There a lot characters got to shine like Rishia when facing Kyo although, Kyo was playing dirty that forced Naofumi to use shield hero of rage with his most trusted companions Raphtalia and Filo with booster effect. It comes with the price once they defeat Kyo that their status have been heavily halved by curse. After that they all celebrate a major victory with all the people that defeated Kyo. Naofumi and his party members had to return to the summoned world to prepare face more Wave of Disaster and Four Holy Beasts.

I am grateful that narrator to continue with the work although, there was some parts cut off when narrator spoke through out audible making me think there some audio glitches in general that take me out of the story sometimes. Maybe some audio edits make seem ends abruptly in middle some of the chapters jarring. Hopefully that won't too much of that audio glitches or cut off in mid sentences that can be fixed.
