Historia
When the spirit of Lara’s great-aunt Sadie–a feisty, demanding girl with firm ideas about fashion, love, and the right way to dance–mysteriously appears, she has one last request: Lara must find a missing necklace that had been in Sadie’s possession for more than seventy-five years, and Sadie cannot rest without it. Lara, on the other hand, has a number of ongoing distractions. Her best friend and business partner has run off to Goa, her start-up company is floundering, and she’s just been dumped by the “perfect” man.

A Ghost Story with Humor and Heart
Revisado: 05-13-20
Sophie Kinsella has given us another of her wonderful stories with a great witty plot, characters that you feel you’ve known forever, and laugh-out-loud humor. The heroine is haunted by a beautiful ghostly flapper, and through the course of the story they unravel love affairs past & future, solve a great mystery, and discover a deep, unlikely affection for each other.
Credit also to narrator Rosalyn Landor, a talented actor who effortlessly switches voices from flapper to modern woman, from male to female, and even throws in a credible male American voice. Ms Landor is a marvelous choice to bring Sophie Kinsella’s words to life.

Best Doc Ford novel in ages!
Revisado: 05-01-16
As a long-time follower of RWW's Doc Ford series, I've enjoyed great ones, silly ones, and several in the middle. (But I read them all because the great ones are in the majority!)
Deep Blue is a definite return to form, with Doc back in Latin America eliminating bad guys...but things don't go as planned: not even close to plan.
The action is excellent, and the soft, touchy-feely biologist from recent books is nowhere to be found.
Please, Mr. White -- give us more like this one!
