Historia
Kyoshi’s place as the true Avatar has finally been cemented - but at a heavy cost. With her mentors gone, Kyoshi voyages across the Four Nations, struggling to keep the peace. But while her reputation grows, a mysterious threat emerges from the Spirit World. To stop it, Kyoshi, Rangi, and their reluctant allies must join forces before the Four Nations are destroyed irreparably. This thrilling follow-up continues Kyoshi’s journey from a girl of humble origins to the merciless pursuer of justice still feared and admired centuries after becoming the Avatar.

Nancy's narrating is as great as ever and the story puts a great conclusion to Kyoshi's story.

Great Prequel

Nancy did a GREAT job at narrating and the story was great wasn't as predictable as I thought it would be. Story is great at giving origins for Kyoshi can't wait to start the next one.

Historia
In a dimly lit cell, a man has awakened to find himself surrounded by the most unimaginable and barbaric things that not even his worst nightmare could conjure up. His captor, Seth Coker, takes the man on a journey into his twisted world of vengeance. A world that runs parallel with the horrors that could only be found in the deepest and darkest parts of hell. A world that bestows a wrath of chaos upon the wicked of our society who have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system. Seth wasn't born a vigilante, nor did he seek out the role—it sought him out.

Barbaric, Cheese, and Hand Gestures
Revisado: 03-02-23
I really like the book but he says barbaric too much and some things he has his characters do and say are corny. For example when we are introduced to the main character he is dressed like an edge-lord I was thinking "oh no" but as we went along it got better, there was still some dialogue and tropes that were cheesy. Also every time a character made a hand gesture that said blank was also over used. Overall the story and narrative are good especially the narrator, I will be listening to the rest of the series.

Only Made it to Ch. 2
Revisado: 02-20-23
I really tried to power through but the dialogue and pop culture used plus the depiction of trying to be scary, gory, agricultural is awful. The beginning was eh nothing much a snore fest for me. Then the club scene with the sister was also bleh goth in night clubs with drugs is so cliche and not to mention the Marilyn Manson, Skinny Puppy name drops the well know alternative/goth artist seemed like something an older person would know and be their claim to being in the know. The sexual depiction was a bore I paid for horror and gore not a adult filth novel. At chapter 2 it seemed to be never ending with him painting a picture of the house. Oh it's dark just the way I like it ooh. Lame, she doesn't like that daddy makes a lot of money because she is one of those and of course she listens to Rob Zombie. I couldn't take it I dropped it, will I return to it?. Doubtful, which is sad because I was hoping to get something out of these stories but I'll skip the other books in the series as well I don't think I'll listen to books by this artist again.
