Great advice! I would 100% recommend this book to those who want more juice out of life. I will listen to this once again as it's too good not to. As Steve said himself in this book, about reading good books, "once for information, twice for transformation"

Historia
Are you tired of feeling f*cked up? If you are, Gary John Bishop has the answer. In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf--ked version of yourself. "Wake up to the miracle you are," he directs. "Here's what you've forgotten: You're a f--king miracle of being." It isn't other people that are standing in your way; it isn't even your circumstances that are blocking your ability to thrive. It's yourself and the negative self-talk you keep telling yourself.

Life changing, simple and profound advice...
Revisado: 07-08-21
each chapter in this book felt like a personalized private session with a life coach. A lot of his client stories of struggle he shares are quite relatable and his advice is easy to apply.
This is one of those books that, for me, are not digestible all at once, it must be taken in chunks and then require some time to ponder on how it can apply to you, you'll probably want to keep a pen and paper near by to write things down too, to get the most out of this great book.
Highly recommended if you struggle with motivating yourself to start better habits or stop destructive ones or if you struggle with self doubt and limiting beliefs.

Historia
It’s difficult to totally disconnect from our jobs outside of work hours. But not doing so can cause long-term stress, burnout, and loss of the joy we find in work. As a top tech leader, Bruce Daisley has seen up close how an around-the-clock work culture can lead employees to feel perpetually stressed-out, disengaged, and unhappy. In this workshop, Daisley lays out specific strategies to help us break free from the unhealthy work habits that lead to burnout and shows us that protecting our personal time can lead to more inspiration and more joy on the job.

Good for managers or owners
Revisado: 06-15-21
It's a good quick listen with some good advice but it's mainly for small business owners or managers with a team, not so much for a worker with less autonomy or say in the workplace. The narrator has an accent, might be a tad difficult for some to fully follow along but it's not too thick.

Historia
What does it mean to be a man in the modern world? Throughout history, being a man has meant different things. Maybe being a man was about being a good hunter, or a good soldier, a good businessman, or maybe good with women. Hard Times Create Strong Men examines what it means to be a man in the modern world relative to money, sex, religion, and politics. This audiobook examines what worked and what doesn’t work based on proven history instead of feelings.

Ideas to become a man
Revisado: 11-05-20
All men especially millennials and those raised by single mothers should go through this book at least once. The author articulated in his words and in the words of past successful leaders what it really means to be a man. A lot of guys have been feminized by their mothers or society and this book will help burn that femininity away and rediscover your true masculinity and purpose as a man. 100% recommended!
