Historia
Mary DiNunzio has been slaving away for the past eight years trying to make partner in her cutthroat Philadelphia law firm. She's too busy to worry about the crank phone calls she's been getting - until they fall into a sinister pattern. The phone rings as soon as she gets to work, then as soon as she gets home. Mary can't shake the sensation that someone is watching her, following her every move. The shadowboxing turns deadly when her worst fears are realized, and she has to fight for something a lot more important than partnership: her life.

After listening to this series being read by Barbara Rosenblat, this was a disappointment
Revisado: 10-09-24
The characters all sounded the same, rather nasally. I found myself thinking more about the narration than the story itself. I can’t decide if I didn’t really enjoy the story because of the writing or the narration.

What a fantastic story
Revisado: 10-05-23
I had to keep reminding myself that it’s based on a true story, and that it’s being read from his notebooks. To think that he endured all of those hardships and still came out on top.

Very entertaining
Revisado: 10-10-18
Will Wheaton has done an amazing job! You feel like you’re there in the story. If you’re not an 80’s geek, there are parts you don’t appreciate as much as if you’v been through it. I could actually see something like this happening in the future the way everyone is connected to their devices now.

Historia
She used to work for the US government, but very few people ever knew that. An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn't even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning. Now she rarely stays in the same place or uses the same name for long. They've killed the only other person she trusted, but something she knows still poses a threat. They want her dead, and soon.

Not my favorite Dan Brown

Performance was excellent. The story itself had very good parts and some parts that I didn’t enjoy as much. A few good twists at the end that redeemed it for me.

Historia
Bennie Rosato, Mary DiNunzio, Judy Carrier, and Anne Murphy are back with all cylinders firing in Accused. Mary Dinuzio has just been promoted to partner and is about to take on her most unusual case yet, brought to the firm by a thirteen-year-old genius with a penchant for beekeeping. Allegra Gardner's sister Fiona was murdered six years ago, and it seemed like an open-and-shut case: the accused, Lonnie Stall, was seen fleeing the scene; his blood was on Fiona and her blood was on him; most damningly, Lonnie Stall pleaded guilty.

Narrator does a great job with a great story
Revisado: 08-01-17
The narrator has a different voice for each character, and I don't mean a little different, but most were distinctly different!
The story had twists and turns, and every time I thought I had it figured out, we would twist again. Lisa Scottoline is an excellent author and has a fantastic story telling ability.
