Cute Stories with they were longer
Revisado: 09-27-20
Amanda Ronconi is one of my favorite narrators, and she knows how to make the characters come alive. You can never go wrong with her if it's a small town story that has quirky characters. Now that is out of the way, time to dive into the stories.
Take Two by Suzanne Enoch
We have Eleanor Ross and Brian MacCafferty in this story. They use to have a relationship, and now they have a working one. Okay, not really. This story was adorable, and a quick listen. They had a lot to work on to repair all aspects of their lives. It's nice little pick me up story.
Pasties and Poor Decisions by Molly Harper
We have Anastasia Villers and Ned Fitzroy. In this story Anastasia hits rock bottom, and needs to come crawling home. She never thought that her coming would be a welcoming one, but it wasn't what she expected. Ned and Anastasia use to have a relationship until she ghosted him. Need some patching up with these. Honestly, this story could have been a full on novel, because there's potential to make it longer. However, it was a cute listen.
Last Chance Motel by Karen Hawkins
This was a super cute story. We have Evan and Jessica Graham. They have an extremely rocky relationship. It was so bad that Jessica left Evan and sent him divorce papers. Evan tries to win back Jessica, but has an uphill battle. Overall, it was a cute story.
Overall, these stories were cute. They all could have been made the stories a full fledge novels, but it was good to have something quick to listen. Also, they were heart-warming, and gave fuzzy feelings at the end.

Historia
My friends want me to get laid. So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus in bold printed letters: Are you the lucky lady who's going to break our roommate's cherry? Him: Socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: Must have a pulse. He will reciprocate with oral. Text him at: 555-254-5551. The morons can't even spell. And the texts I've been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I'm not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn me into one.

Revisado: 11-01-17
Anyway, I enjoyed The Learning Hours. So much so that I plan to go back and read the previous books. So, if you haven't listen/read the previous books you don't need to worry, total standalone. Yes, they are on a wrestling team, but their lives overlap too much. We get to focus on Rhett and Laurel. So, we have Josh Goodman doing the Rhett sections, and Muffy Newton doing the the Laurel parts. Having dual narrator is all right, not my preference, because you start to get use to one narrator doing the voices and you kind of enjoy their reading more than the others. I personally thought Muffy did a better job of reading. However, Josh didn't do a bad job. I preferred Muffy's narration of the story over Josh. Eventually, Josh's voice did start warm to me. He's not a bad narrator, but I preferred Muffy's take of Laurel. Even though I preferred Muffy's take on the story, there were a couple mispronounce names, and honestly no one would notice that unless they lived in the area that Rhett was from. Since I lived in the area, I'm probably going to be the only that notice that it was mispronounce. Overall, they both did a pretty good job of reading Rhett and Laurel's part, because Rhett spoke a little french to Laurel which I would have butchered, but they both did fantastic job. I would listen to these two again. Josh and Muffy made Rhett and Laurel come alive in the story. So, if are looking to listen to a new adult read, The Learning Hours is pretty good, and Josh and Muffy do a pretty good job. Took a little time to get use to the switching back and forth, but not bad. Pretty good.

Super Creepy
Revisado: 03-29-17
Okay, the story was super creepy. The narrator, Eliza Foss, does an amazing job with this story. There were times I was glad I was listening to the story during the day. She was able to capture each of the characters voice. The villain's voice still creeps me out. She would be someone I would be willing to listen read another suspense story.

A Pretty Good Story
Revisado: 09-09-16
I finally got around to listening to Susan Elizabeth Phillips First Star I See Tonight. The story was pretty good, and the narrator wasn't bad, but she wasn't Anna Fields. I think it would have been better if they had found a narrator who could have done a more southern drawl I would have been happy. After all it's Cooper Graham. Nicole Poole did a good job.
Now I have been hopping around through this series, you don't have to read the previous books in order to read this one. There are a few characters that popup from the previous books here and there. Don't worry.
We have Piper Dove who is a struggling PI. She's trying her best, but she wasn't cut out to be in that line of work, but it's her legacy. She was hired to follow Cooper Graham. She's quite harmless. Anyway, Piper isn't the type of girl would go after, but she's a challenge. I love how Susan makes these heroine, because they are normal woman, but extraordinaire personality. Piper is quite the character. She's sassy and funny, which knocks the wind out of Cooper Graham. You have Cooper Graham. There is no other way to describe him than using his full name.
Overall, First Star I See Tonight is like the predecessors in this series, fun to listen to. There were a couple things I wondered about the story like where he went to school. To a normal reader it wouldn't bother them, and I probably wouldn't have cared had I not moved to Oklahoma. In the story says one thing, but then mentions Norman which is OU territory. It's just me. Narration was all right, but a fun listen. It would be something I would go back and re-listen. Need something to pick you and laugh, First Star I See Tonight might be your answer.

You Need a Dragon in Your Life
Revisado: 09-09-16
Jeffery Kafer does an amazing job like always. I love the sound his voice. Anyway, I liked Into the Darkness. I'm super glad Rhea didn't push Conall to far. I do like Darkness books, because you never know what is going to pop next. There is always something knew awaiting. Plus, you want to start from the beginning, because there are some many characters that pop in out of the story. Also the story line builds upon each book.

Revisado: 09-09-16
Sophie does an amazing job reading this book. However, I the story is still not my favorite. The heroine drove me nuts still. I read the book first, and I thought I like a little more in audio form; nope. Still a three star story.

A little rough but good.
Revisado: 07-09-16
Susan Elizabeth Phillips does an amazing job with making me have the feelies for this story. Adore Rachel and her inner strength to conquer the past. She's truly a good person, even when no one believes her to be one. I also love how she exacts revenge on Cal and Ethan in the end. That was awesome. I like how Gabe comes to realize that he can love again after tragedy. Overall, a pretty darn good story. If you are in a need of a good cry, Dream a Little Dream is a go to read.
