Historia
In 490 BCE Pheidippides ran for 36 hours straight from Athens to Sparta to seek help in defending Athens from a Persian invasion in the Battle of Marathon. In doing so he saved the development of Western civilization and inspired the birth of the marathon as we know it. Even now, some 2,500 years later, that run stands enduringly as one of greatest physical accomplishments in the history of mankind.

Bit too much of showing off
Revisado: 01-23-18
I have enjoyed the book but if I was guessing I would say that this was his first book ever written. However wasn't bad at all is just a bit too much for my taste. I'm already in his other book Road to Sparta and I am loving it ! Would recommend it! Much better story and vocabulary. Although it has a little bit of similarities with this one, but then on the other end it is way more interesting.
