Honestly, if you like romantic suspense books and you like it with a side of spice... You should read Devney Perry.

Final book in the Eden series did not disappoint. It tied up a ton of loose ends and finished up events that happened in Vance & Lila's story.

Honestly if you like romantasy this series is a must read. We get a ton more romantic themes in this installment. There's some pretty fantastic tropes too.

✅ Mate Bonds
✅ Touch her and 💀
✅ Shadow Hands
✅ Tons of witty banter
✅ Found Family

But this story is much more than romance. There's tons of secrets, plots, politics and more. Be mindful that this book ends on a cliffhanger. And there is open door spice which I would rate 3/5 on the spice level.

the audio performance is fantastic. The entire book is single POV from the FMC but the epilogue is from the MMC POV so that's where Tim Campbell comes in. I do wish we had more dual POVs in this story though. Lores POV would be fantastic especially the way Tim Campbell embodies him.

This was fantastic. Like, it gave me some serious FBAA/ ACOTAR vibes. I'm traditionally an audio book person but I'm seriously debating getting the paperback just to know what happens next! Yes, there's a bit of a cliff hanger but it's not devastating or anything.

✅ Fae and human conflict
✅ One bed
✅ He's basically a batboy only morally grey with a murderous reputation
✅ He can't talk... Sign language and note passing. It doesn't damper anything though.
✅ She's got a temper!
✅ Unique magic system using colors. Each color is usable for spells a certain way. Super unique!!!

Loved this series!

So cute!!! A bit cheesy but in the best ways. I loved Nora from the previous books and I've been looking forward to her story for a while now.

What to expect

✅ He's a grumpy tattoo artist
✅ Grand gestures
✅ Medium burn
✅ He rejects her initially and so she "tempts" him from afar

I loved that this single dad romance was about a dad who had a teenager. The kid was able to be more involved and was more engaging to read about. Plus it provided Nora with a way to connect with him because she ultimately befriends his kid first. Nora is not a serious person when it comes to dating so it was fun to watch her figure out her feelings and it was equally as fun to watch her scare the bajesus out of Dex at the beginning. She didn't know where it would lead but she wanted him. It was great.

This was excellent! If you like the following tropes you definitely need to check this book out!

✅ Virgin FMC but she's not an inexperienced one
✅ Secret dating
✅ Small town romance

I loved this book. It was filled with steamy tension while also being delightfully sweet.

Synopsis
Our FMC moves back to her small town for the summer where she begins working with her brother's best friend who she has known all her life practically. Her brother is obnoxiously over protective because of their dead beat dad and tasks his best friend with keeping an eye on her. When some shit goes down with her dad he moves her out of her dad's house and into his for her own safety. He discovers that she has a make shift bucket list that she wants to work through this summer and on it is to lose her V card. And as much as he wants to be the one to help with that particular item he swore to his friend that he'd protect her, not take advantage. Even if she can't seem to stay away from him either.

Honestly, the tension in this book was fabulous. And the whole skinny dipping/cove scene was 🥵

Accents were weird but the story was great

I love these characters and this world. It was such a pleasure to finally get to understand what happened between Jules and Ruben. He's always been so enigmatic and you just knew he was waiting to get Jules back. And I liked how the second chance romance was handled. It felt a little different from other books that use this trope though, the reuniting was inevitable to both of the characters rather than something to fight off. And I think I liked that. Due to the story taking place across the pond, we did have less sister/family moments than in previous books. Also, I kinda wanted a really badass, "I'm the most powerful witch in NOLA" moment from Jules and her moment of power didn't live up to what I wanted. However, the romance was just *chef's kiss.* And man... The spice hits and hits hard in this book. Literally in the damn prologue hahahaha.

I can't wait for Clara's book 📚

Oh Daddy...

If you like age gap romances, silver foxes with tattoos and a FMC in her 30's you'll probably like this one. To be fair though, some of the moments in this book might be too much for less experienced readers in the smut genre. Just a heads up here, there's a lot of "Daddy" moments and you best prepare yourself. But it's a fun time hahahaha. It's got a bit of a taboo feel because of how the MCs meet and the age gap which is substantial (20). There is a bit of immaturity on her part especially in the third act breakup which kept this from being a five star review for me especially since she wasn't in her twenties or anything. But because it's SJ Tilly you can expect some funny moments, banter and of course some smut.

Uhhhh, I swear Devney Perry can do NO WRONG! This was fantastic! Not only did it have some of my favorite narrators doing the audio for this but it was a 5/5 star read for me.

I am not usually a big fan of second chance romance because they don't always feel authentic. This, on the other hand felt extremely authentic! Not only that but the romance was fantastic. I loved the beginning when his daughter met her for the first time and she's all, "isn't she the lady from the picture in your office?" He's mortified and she's so thoroughly intrigued. I loved every minute of this. Definitely a bit more spicy than some of her other books but I was here for it. The spice isn't instantaneous though, there is a bit of a slow-medium burn.
