to say i’m already obsessed with this new series al jackson has created would be a huge understatement. i was completely hooked right from the start and didn’t want to stop reading for anything. i listened to the audiobook and it was *chef’s kiss* the portrayal of charleigh and river that andi arndt and austin stone gave was amazing. they brought those two characters to life so well. a very enjoyable listening experience indeed.

i was so taken with charleigh and wanted to shield her from everything that was cruel and bad. her life hasn’t been what she envisioned and she’s been through some horrible things. and it was serendipitous that she happened to stumble upon a tattoo shop without knowing that the owner would be the missing piece she didn’t know she was searching for.

river has been through some things of his own. and yeah, you might say they’re unspeakable but he had his reasons and i don’t fault him one bit. he may come off as ruthless and broody, but when it comes to his family which is his son, sister, and band of brothers he would go to the ends of the earth to protect them at all cost. and he might not think it, but his heart is pure gold.

charleigh and river were everything. it was fate how they came into each other lives. it’s as if the world was working its magic in bringing them together. the attraction was evident and their chemistry was scorching. but what was even better was the connection they had, it was intense and electrifying. they were so good together and were exactly what each other needed. and how can i not mention nolan, he was such a light and breath of fresh air. river, charleigh, and nolan were just so special. i loved and adored them so much.

from here to eternity knocked me on my heels. obviously i couldn’t get enough of the single dad trope. this ex motorcycle club, and small town romance brought the action, suspense as well as all the emotions. i fell so hard for these characters and can’t wait to learn more about them. i’m especially jonesing for the next book knowing who it’s going to be and i’m already ravenous!

there are some books that just emotionally knock you out. this book kept hitting me left and right and there was no point putting up a fight because the damage was already done. i can’t even begin to articulate how much of an impact this story had on me. there are only a handful of books that have made me feel the way this book has and let me tell you that’s some feat.

i was instantly swept away with avery and gabriel. just as it was for them it wasn’t hard for me fall and fall fast. the attraction between them was instant and the chemistry was electric. they formed a connection that was real and beautiful. you’d think they were untouchable, but life has a way of coming at you when you least expect it. and just as fast as they’re whirlwind of a romance started, their downfall was just as unexpected and came just as fast.

the growth that both avery and gabriel made throughout the book was staggering. the healing that they both made was astronomical and much needed. it was never a question the amount of love they had for each other, even the years they were apart their hearts beat as one. the journey they both had to make to come back to one another and a better version of themselves was well fought and earned.

what we keep was an emotionally charged second chance romance with an abundance of feels. this heart wrenching story obliterated my heart and then-some. avery and gabriel were something else and i’ll never forget them and a piece of my heart will always belong to them.

what an audio. victoria dickson and wesley mercer did a phenomenal job portraying avery and gabriel. their performances were incredible and the emotions they evoked were outstanding. definitely recommend the audio.

this was my first time experiencing jennifer’s writing, and it won’t be my last.

it’s so bittersweet reading the last book in a series. on one hand i don’t want it to end, but on the other hand i couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ending to the summer series.

daisy was a firecracker. i loved her zest for life, and the fact that she knew exactly what she wanted. she’s all sunshine and goodness, but she too had her moments of vulnerability. there were also some underlying things she’s trying work through and move forward from. she was fierce, strong, determined, and caring and those attribute’s definitely came in handy where harrison was concerned.

harrison is going through it. everything he wanted in life he’s achieved, or so he thought. with the ending of his marriage and the uncertainty in his career, harrison is stuck and feeling like a failure. no doubt about it that he’s a grump, but there was so much more to him. seeing the light turn back on and with the help from daisy no-less was amazing.

daisy and harrison shouldn’t make sense. there is so much that should keep them apart, aside from the age difference but also the fact that daisy is harrison’s best friends niece. and yes, i know that there might be that uncomfortableness to the best friends niece aspect, but the progression of their romance was done so well. they took the time and got to know each other on a deeper level. was there attraction? yes, of course but they formed a connection that was much more stronger than just physical. they communicated with each other and were vulnerable and earned one another’s trust. they were exactly what each other needed and that missing piece that made them complete.

the first time i saw you was an incredible age gap romance with all the feels. every book in this series was so good and the final book was the cherry on top.

my ears were blessed listening to this audiobook. samantha brentmoor and jason clarke did a phenomenal job bringing daisy and harrison to life. both of their performances were outstanding and just superb.

this book checked off so many things i love in a book. small town, check. second chance, check. single dad, check check and check! honestly, give me a single dad romance all day every day! this book did not disappoint, and cage reynolds was everything and more.

presley and cage have so much history together and it was inevitable that they’d be end game. though it seemed that timing was never on their side, it was always right person wrong time. years have passed and circumstances have made presley return home and with that back to the place she shared so many memories with cage. and when presley and cage see each other again it’s like no time had passed. the chemistry between them was ever-present as well as the deep rooted connection they’ve always had. seeing them reconnect was emotionally beautiful and heartfelt. they were so good together and so good for each other. i loved their relationship so much. i especially loved how devoted, protective, and loving cage was with gracie, his daughter, he was such an amazing dad. and oh my heart, the bond that presley and gracie formed was so adorable. these three made the perfect little family.

after the storm was an exceptional second chance romance with all the feels. i couldn’t get enough with every character that made up the charming, heartwarming, and down to earth small town of cottonwood cove. i’m so sad this series is over, but what a way for it to end. this was the perfect ending to this incredible series.

amazing audio, loved it!

this book made me happy. smiles all around, it was such a feel-good read. i loved it.

reese and finn have been best friends since kindergarten. they’re always there for one another no matter what, inseparable. they share a connection that’s absolute. they’ve never crossed the line in becoming something more, but when something happens where they begin to fake date, feelings start to blur. it’s evident that reese and finn have spectacular chemistry and were just so good together. i loved the ease to their relationship and just how they made an incredible team. i loved them.

before the sunset was an amazing friends to lovers romance that left me giddy. i just love this series so much.

i had the best time reading this book. honestly though, if laura pavlov writes it i’m instantly reading.

georgia and maddox were incredible. georgia’s sunny personality and sweetness were exactiy what maddox’s broodiness and grumpiness needed. they complimented each other so well and made an amazing team. they had great banter that had me laughing and smiling so big. they had outstanding chemistry and were so good together. i loved the way they trusted each other and seeing maddox open up to georgia and be vulnerable with her was beautiful.

under the stars brought all the feels. i absolutely loved this small town romance to pieces. i just love this series and the reynolds family so much. another great addition to the cottonwood cove series.

great audio!

i thought this was ok. there were some things i enjoyed and some things i didn’t. honestly i liked the past chapters better than the present ones and that’s saying something because i usually don’t like dual timelines. i just felt like the romance wasn’t all that great and especially how indya and west just rushed back into old habits, there was no buildup whatsoever. i just wish there would’ve been more substance to their relationship.

crossroads was a second chance romance that gave me all those feel good small town vibes that i enjoy. i was really intrigued with jax and i’m excited for his book especially with the tropes that have been mentioned and i can’t wait for his book.

this book was such a feel-good book that left me utterly happy. i laughed. i smiled. i swooned. soooooo good.

saylor and king have always shared a special connection since an early age. they’re the greatest of friends and they’re friendship is unbreakable. no matter what they’re always there for each other and will do anything for one another. there’s no denying the attraction they have, and king doesn’t want to do anything that’ll jeopardize his friendship with hayes, saylor’s brother. the more time they spend together though it’s becoming difficult to fight what they feel for each other. the chemistry between them was scorching and they burned hot. i loved how they communicated with each other and were so open with everything they felt for one another. they were so perfect together and i just loved them.

forbidden king was an incredible brother’s best friend and forbidden romance that brought all the feels. once again i couldn’t get enough of all the messages between the RoD gang, i just love their friendship so much. and beefcake, i can’t get enough of that little dude either. i’m salivating for the next book knowing it’s finally nash’s turn, i neeeeeeeed.

cj bloom and jason clark hit it out of the park with their performance on this audio!

i can’t get enough of this series! after reading loving romeo and getting a taste of the ROD (ride or die) guys, i couldn’t wait to get their books. and next up was river, and boy it was incredible to watch him fall for ruby and vice versa.

ruby and river are one in the same, both knowing exactiy what they want when it comes to a relationship, or i should say non-relationship. they’re always upfront and honest about what’s expected and what they have to offer and that’s just how they like it. so it was a shock when they both started developing feelings for each other that were foreign from what they’re used to. they didn’t expect to break their own rules let alone completely fall for one another. it was great to see their walls come down and embrace what they were feeling. they had outstanding banter that had me giddy. their chemistry was electric and downright scorching. they were exactly what each other needed and perfect for one another.

wild river was a fantastic addition to the magnolia falls series. i just absolutely love these characters and group of friends so much. and it goes without saying that beefcake was a highlight in this book as well.

desiree ketchum and aiden snow did a phenomenal job bringing ruby and river to life!

starting a new laura pavlov series is the best feeling. inject all her words into my veins, i’m an addict to her books.

i loved everything about demi and romeo. these two had me from the start and i was obsessed. i loved how demi didn’t let the fact that she comes from money define her. she’s so hardworking and has done an outstanding job starting her own business with grit and determination. romeo hasn’t had it easy, but he’s prevailed and has made a name for himself. and you’d think that these two wouldn’t make sense since they come from two different worlds, but they’re more alike than they think. they developed a beautiful friendship that slowly developed into something more. they had incredible chemistry and shared an amazing connection. they were so good together and so right for each other.

loving romeo was an enemies to lovers romance that brought all the feels. the small town of magnolia falls had all the wholesome and charming feel goodness, so heartwarming. i absolutely loved the friendship between the ROD gang. i loved this book and i can’t wait to continue with this series.

also, this audiobook was sensational, absolutely loved it!
