Historia
As President Trump’s national security advisor, John Bolton spent many of his 453 days in the room where it happened, and the facts speak for themselves. The result is one of the few White House memoirs to date by a top-level official. With almost daily access to the president, John Bolton has produced a precise rendering of his days in and around the Oval Office. What Bolton saw astonished him: a president for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation.

Takes one to know one

A narcissistic and egotistical physical and moral coward pens memoir about same. Here's to hoping we never have to hear about or from either ever again soon.

What do you do when you come home one day and discover that your parents have been kidnapped? Well, if you're a brave young guy named Charlie Ashanti, you go off in search of them. And since you happen to know how to speak Cat, your feline friends (the stray cats of the city and the caged lions on a magnificent, astounding floating circus) rally around you, bringing help, advice, and occasional special deliveries. Great book!
Revisado: 04-20-05
LionBoy is a very good book. It's scary at some points, but then there's humor I've listened to it twice. I'm thinking about getting the second book (LionBoy, The Chase).

The Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy, the first volume in the five-part Hitchhiker "trilogy" made Douglas Adams a science fiction sensation, and is a must-listen for any and all fans of the genre. Don't forget to bring a towel!

Great!
Revisado: 04-20-05
The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy is one of my favorite books. I loved it the first time I listened to it. Since then I've listened to the book 2 more times! It has great humor and sci-fi elements. It has many hilarious parts to it. The movie for it is comng out April 29, 2005, which is very close to my birthday. So what do you think that I'll do on my birthday? Go to the theatre and whatch the movie for the first time. I'm thinking about getting The Restraunt at the end of the Universe (the second book).

Historia
Larry Brown is hailed as one of today's most talented Southern writers. With the release of each book, reviewers and fans offer increasingly enthusiastic praise for the astonishing characters he creates.
At 17, Fay Jones leaves her family's squalid home with $3 in her bra and ragged sneakers on her feet. As she heads for Biloxi, people befriend her (a policeman, his wife, a bouncer) but her impact on their lives is seductive and unpredictable.

Why did I listen to all of this
Revisado: 04-17-04
I very much did not enjoy this book. The writing and narrative was written as if for a child, the characters were repellent, the story was stupid, the ending, while long awaited and welcomed, as would be a prison release date, was completely unimaginative and just dumb. I highly do not recommend this book. I do not understand why I bothered to listen past the first 10 minutes. ehh.
If you want good stories about folks who live in the the south, I recommend anything by Lee Smith, perhaps "Saving Grace" for an alternative "girl alone against the world" story.
