Leave it to robin H to create a world so detailed an and enticing. I put this series off for years tho I loved the other mainly because I listened to part and prefer a male narrator but I'm overjoyed to have started it finally pirates magic and mayhem if I had one dislike it's that there's always those characters who make bad decisions that seem so obviously wrong or trust when it's obviously stupid and only to set up upcoming drama but both story and story teller are worth time an money.

Historia
Tamsyn Muir’s Gideon the Ninth unveils a solar system of swordplay, cut-throat politics, and lesbian necromancers. Her characters leap out of the audio, as skillfully animated as arcane revenants. The result is a heart-pounding epic science fantasy. Brought up by unfriendly, ossifying nuns, ancient retainers, and countless skeletons, Gideon is ready to abandon a life of servitude and an afterlife as a reanimated corpse.

Loved it
Revisado: 11-09-23
A must listen. I only write reviews if I'm surprised in a good or a bad way the last few titles I've read were because of reviews an they were ok at best this was a random pick from the plus catalog and I loved it super surprised, it is necromancy but not so in your face and in a slightly different take it can be difficult to follow at times because of the complicated names but overall a great story. It's very much like the Cycle of Arawn yet not quite the same duo as blaze an Dante and not quite as vast in scope as that series this is more abridged in a way. in this all the houses being some form of necromantic practitioners was a cool new take I hadn't herd before and the narration was spot on usually I go for the male narrators with many different voice characters but some of my faves were narrated by both but this surprised me in a lot of ways Moira had a simple but smooth and consistent way and her accent definitely adds weight to this story thank you for making my day.

Great series and always a great performance by T.G. Reynolds. Impossible not to be a Dante and Blaze fan I was even rooting for the Liche and gladic tho I felt he was forgotten about at times in the story an just given a task to remind u he was there and events were sometimes predictable but none the less great story. Also am I the only one who wants a Carverhal novella

Better than the show
Revisado: 02-14-19
Love the book and narration one of my favorite writers Gaimen has a unique skill of writing stories easily adapted for good television an I mean good. As like many of his pieces the shows compliment the book as an audio it made an awesome listen picturing Ian McShane as me Wednesday one of my favorite actors and favorite character. But I must give a shout to the giant leprechaun Pablo Schreiber who is my favorite tv character. Great buy all around.

Falling for this series a must listen or read
Revisado: 03-24-17
Story, plot an character building all good not perfect but entertaining. The magic system is refreshingly simple every now an then we need a break from complicated even tho it's not the most imaginative magic system I enjoy it. But it's truly the characters an flawed ideology that resembles our own religions discriminating persecutions by whole peoples on whole peoples an races that all begin an come from the same origins. Blind to the fact that they or we all are human an not so different yet some force they're beliefs on all others or die while peace is a fallacy for the weak. Read it

Macbeth: A Novel brings the intricacy and grit of the historical thriller to Shakespeare’s tale of political intrigue, treachery, and murder. In this full-length novel written exclusively for audio, authors A. J. Hartley and David Hewson rethink literature’s most infamous married couple, grounding them in a medieval Scotland whose military and political upheavals are as stark and dramatic as the landscape in which they are played.
