Seriously? They may be leveling but there’s no story progression happening. Just side story hints. How is this book 3 and they’re still having survival issues outside of combat?

I can appreciate a crafting grind but what the hell man. This whole book is a flood of excessive stats and zero to little story progression. How the hell have they not met another island the whole time?!
Makes me want to drop this series.

Great story but….

Love this series but the author had serious ADHD while writing this. They were jumping perspectives and repeating unnecessary information constantly. It was hard to keep up with. Waaaaaay too many new characters…. Holy crap….
Honestly felt like there was very little to do with the title of the book outside the first 1/4-1/3 of it.

The storyline was pretty great until this book. Took a super hard 180 and barely makes sense now.
What is Seth Ring doing? This is one of those books you can skip and the rest of the series would still make sense.

The author gets way too descriptive every other sentence. Good thing I got audio, I would’ve fallen asleep trying to read this.

The story was well performed and a good continuation. But nothing really gets resolved within the main plot.
Plus the book is called scavengers but he never goes on scavengers missions…..
