Not enough action

Let me start off by saying there are too many female actress that sound the same, which made it sometimes hard to figure out who was talking.
Cool plot twists, but lacked any cool action scenes. I wasn't on the edge of my seat like the 1st book..
I'm still vested in the next book - PLEASE PUT MORE FIGHTS AND SCARY CLIFFHANGER MOMENTS IN THE NEXT ONE

there should have been a sequel to this book. a vampire Ryder and a mythical chain would have been the best
