In A Guide to the Climate Apocalypse, Vítězslav Kremlík delivers a refreshing and objective analysis of the history and science behind climate change. Books about climate change frequently endorse a narrow, often malicious angle of total indoctrination or abject denial of the official story. Kremlík employs a direct and detailed critique of not only the studies that have led to our current understanding of large-scale changes in the weather, but also the political biases and motives behind global action taken in response to it.

A modern classic on economic thought

A quite unique and necessary book about economics, entrepreneurship and life. the author has a unique perspective on how the soviet union economy enslaved and mind-controlled millions of people under it. The theme of the writing is that 'economic self determination' is the key to liberating people's minds and giving them the power to live life to the fullest. In the way they see fit. Goes way beyond the normal capitalist vs. communism debate. Everyone stands to gain from this deep unpacking of how people live and make choices.

This book offers a very direct and maybe difficult for some people message about finding your place in the world by developing yourself. I think it intentionally goes places that self-help or personal development books meant for broader audiences won't. It knows what kind of person it is meant for. Readers will either find that a strength or a weakness, depending on if they fit into that group. If you self-identify as an exceptional person with aspirations of heroism, you will probably find the brutal honesty and no-nonsense tone of the author to be exactly the kind of kick in the pants you needed to change your philosophy about life and who you are. Well done.

I just recommended this book to a friend

The Influential Author and its author were the greatest influence on me for finally writing and self-publishing my first book. That book is a professional guide in a difficult area of life based on my lifelong profession, and to my surprise there were virtually zero books about it on Amazon. That book has now been published (finally!) and is off to a great start on Amazon and we are bringing this much needed info to the public in a new format.
I don't think there is any greater guide available for the entire process, and I mean from the early stages of thinking and planning all the way through to publication day and everything that comes after. If you really read and take Gregory Diehl's advice to heart here, it will definitely change the way you think about nonfiction books and becoming an author. I cannot recommend it more. I am proud to include the hardcover on my bookshelf.
