An already 5 star read that I could not WAIT to experience again in audio somehow got even better. Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor are 2 of the most elite narrators and this performance was a true and total KNOCKOUT. There’s just something about hearing some of your favorite characters being brought to life expertly. The way that they DELIVERED and left ZERO crumbs as Grant and Laney was everything I could have hoped for and then some.

I was beyond ecstatic to be back in Fiasco, this series and it’s complete and total CHOKEHOLD on me since I read it the first go round hasn’t lost its sparkle. If anything? This audio has just elevated it even more. These bourbon boys are truly something remarkable and this incredibly special cast of characters is can’t miss. I have shouted from the rooftops how insanely fabulous this series is for months now and I hope this audio gives it even more reach. If you haven’t made your way to Kentucky, you absolutely need to do it now. Let Samantha and Connor lead the way.

Grant Foxx and Laney Young are thrust into each others lives under circumstances beyond either of their control and as we watch both of their wounded souls become intertwined its literal magic. Zoltar magic. I love everything about this series, everything about these characters, everything about Victoria’s writing. These Foxx boys know EXACTLY what they’re doing. 5/5 sweet as honey stars.

Ahhhhh Samantha and Teddy as Jack and Wren 🥰😍 my whole entire heart. Two ELITE narrators for an ELITE story. Going back to Boston and back to these elite families is like returning home. I love each and every visit and every installment. Every book in this series gets better and better and oh my goodness has this been my favorite. Jack Kincaid, sir you are DIVINE. As much as I wanted to dislike him for what he did to Wren to start off the book, I just couldn’t. The grump who’s only a grump because he is secretly so in love with the girl that he can’t help it!? STAHP it. I’m a sucker. Also that FILTHY mouth will get me every. Single. Time. Also, Julie? Ma’am. HE READ ROMANCE BOOKS BECAUSE SHE DID!? I cannot. Too good. I had been waiting for his story since we saw the big brother blow out over Estlin and Owen and to have him be matched with Owen’s sister in return!? The plot thickens and is just so juicy I LOVED it. Most significant for me, though, was Wren’s story. Without going into too much spoiler-y detail, I just want to say WHAT A WARRIOR. Survivor and total all around baddie and when she faltered the way that Jack helps her find her ground?!? I just cannot rave about this book enough. Every time we are back with the Fritz’s it’s a good time and this book was absolutely no exception. Loved it. 5/5 stars!!

I now understand why Laura was saying that Lulu and Rafe stuck with her for a while after she finished writing this book. I have a feeling they are going to do the same for me. Rafe Chadwick, book husband, I absolutely adore you. The easy going, always supportive demeanor is everything he lights up every room and is just someone that everyone immediately is drawn to. Smooth, carefree, genuinely happy and an all around nice guy, big ups to the nice guys because as much as I love a broody MMC, the nice guys deserve the love too. Lulu Sonnet was ferocity incarnate. THE GIRL THROAT PUNCHES HIM THE FIRST TIME SHE MEETS HIM?! Does it get any more fierce than that!? I am absolutely OBSESSED with her. She is guarded from being hurt before but she is literally everything I could ever want in a bestie and I am so in love with them as a couple. The family dynamics are always my favorite part of every Laura Pavlov book. The supporting cast of characters almost become just as important as our main ones and the found family aspect is unmatched in every series. Seeing all of my favorite Magnolia Falls characters again is always such a treat and AS ALWAYS my boy beefcake steals the show with his wonderful pearls of wisdom. You want a genuine and true feel good book with lots of laughs, tons of heart and maybe even a few tears? Read this book. As a matter of fact, read every Laura Pavlov book. The best 5/5 stars.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

*Sunshine/sunshine
*Fake dating
*Forced proximity
*He falls first
*Frenemies to lovers
*Small Town

I just don’t think you understand how much I loved this book. Quinn and Eli are just it. They are it. I don’t know how else to out it into words but this book ate me up and swallowed me whole and I can’t find a reason to care that it did. I loved it so, so much. You guys know how I feel about friends to lovers and this was done SO INCREDIBLY WELL. Also can I please give a shout-out to these amazing authors for THE REPRESENTATION. To all my fellow endo warriors, I see you. This meant so much to me as a reader. I cannot wait for Ava’s story but my heart will always belong to Eli Barton. Infinite stars!

Another gem from Laura!
First book in the Rosewood River series follows Easton Chadwick (twin brother of Emerson from Magnolia Falls) and Henley Holloway, new associate at his law firm and his boss’s daughter. Playboy, hot shot lawyer, and gorgeous grump Easton, was so deliciously snarky at first when newbie Henley is brought in as his mentee. Focused on making partner the last thing Easton wants is a distraction so he pushes gorgeous Henley away. We all know that this tactic is rarely successful especially when she is smart, sassy, gorgeous and gives Easton a run for his money in the office. The banter as per the usual with Laura’s writing is top tier. Henley is take no mess and quick to give Easton back what he gives in the attitude department. She’s strong willed and I absolutely loved her as a character. My Achilles heel is when he falls first and oh my goodness was Easton falling soooo delectable. He is utterly consumed with his infatuation with her and when the tension snaps it is SO GOOD. Laura’s writing is laugh out loud funny, we of course get her signature text thread conversations, this time with the Chadwick boys and it is hilarious as usual. My boy Beefcake makes an appearance and he is of course as adorable as ever. As always Laura crushes this! An absolute banger to begin the series. I can’t wait to see what these Chadwick brothers have up their sleeves and what secrets The Taylor Tea has for us! 5/5 stars!

I have been a fan of Ashley's writing for a while now, and when I heard we were getting a MF small town romance from her pseudonym, I was ecstatic! First book in the Blossom Beach series follows Gemma and her son Sutton and the new guy in town and conveniently enough new neighbor, Everett. Seattle born and bred Everett has decided to make a major life change and move clear across the country after inheriting his late grandmother Rosie's home in South Carolina. He finds himself in Blossom Beach and immediately stumbles upon a beautiful stranger, Gemma, on the pier as he is attempting to soak in one of his first beachside sunsets.

"My own version of serendipity, if you will."

It all snowballs from there. It turns out not only is Gemma Everett's neighbor, but he is also set to be the teacher to Gemma's son, Sutton. Immediate forced proximity at its finest. Everett has an instant connection to both Gemma and Sutton and I must say, his relationship with Sutton was probably one of my favorite things about this book, other than his absolutely swelteringly hot mouth. Gemma's hasn't dated anyone since she lost her husband 6 years ago and while she is still not sure she is ready for dating, she is convinced that she is ready for a physical relationship, AKA "frennies with bennies" situation with the hot neighbor next door. Cue the SPICE! Gemma and Everett are so dynamic in every sense. Once that tension breaks, there's definitely no going back. Ashley DELIVERS on the steamy scenes as she always does and I love how organically this couples relationship develops. They start to weave themselves deeper into each other's lives and into each other's hearts. I enjoyed this story very much and can we not only get a round of applause for the classroom scene but the lighthouse one as well? Please and thank you. 4.5/5 stars!

Ahhhh JULIEEEEEE this may be my favorite of this next gen series so far. Mason is what book boyfriend dreams are made of and Dr. Sorel Fritz-Reyes (IYKYK) is one of the fiercest FMCs to date. She is take no mess and finally realizing what she deserves after her d-bag ex forces her hand by cheating on her with her best friend. WHO DOES THAT!? Brody can straight up kick rocks but if that means it drove her to Mason, play on. 😎

On a more serious note, I loved EVERYTHING about this book. I’m constantly looking for more friends to lovers books because I genuinely believe that they are a most underrated trope and I always end up adoring them. There’s something about the way they already know and care for each other and watching their relationship grow from a place of already adoring just melts my heart. Mason has a MAJOR case of unrequited love and is determined to show Sorel he’s the man for her. Reverse age gap gives this spice a little extra kick for the young hot, football player to be suddenly wife-ing up the newly unexpectedly single doctor in a Vegas quickie and it was uphill from there. Mason shows time and time again that he’s THE guy. In all aspects of the word. A man. Steps up and proves the kind of guy Sorel needs and deserves. I loved this installment so, so much. All my favorite cameos of all the Boston crew make this world so rich. 5/5 stars, as always, can’t wait for the next trip to Massachusetts! 🫶🏻

I had been patiently waiting for Luc’s story and the way it played out with Micki was PERFECT. Dare I say I loved their story almost as much as Ava and Dean? I’d say it’s a close second for sure. Luc has been so misunderstood over the course of the series and I was pulling for him so hard. My poor Micki. The things that poor girl has been through!? Unfathomable….but the way she was such a BADDIE in spite of it all!?!? I loved them both so much. Such a hard fought and well deserved happy “enough” ending for them. I say that because of how it all played out, I wouldn’t call it an HEA by any means, but that’s what makes it great. 5/5 stars!

MY HEARTTTTTTT. Waylon my sweet, sweet boy, we are not worthy of you. My heart just aches for this 1/2 of the dynamic twin duo. Ever the protector, ever the "I put myself second to everyone else" brother, Waylon find a little bit of paradise in texting the stranger from the group message that he was forced into by a friend. Hidden identity turns into and oh em gee moment when they schedule a meet up and it turns out that said stranger is his EX GIRLFRIENDS LITTLE SISTER. LE GASP! Harlow was the cutest darn thing I have read in a while, a bit naive but in a very endearing way that I just wanted to scoop her up and put her into my pocket. I loved her. Her and I alike, fell so hard and fast for the responsible, protective twin and I couldn't have adored Waylon more. Spicy lessons are my kryptonite and good grief these were hot! Check your trigger warnings because there is some pretty heavy stuff addressed over the course of the book as we come to expect with Brooke's writing. It's raw, its real, and extremely emotional. As always though, Brooke addresses them with such grace and delicacy, it's incredible. I loved it and I love this small town and it's lovable cast of characters. 4.5/5 stars!!

Cole and Ally broke my heart and put me back together again. They individually and as a couple, are the truest examples of not being a victim to your circumstances. Two kids who have had more than their share of hard knocks growing up, find each other when they need to the most and become one another's pillars of strength. When a horrible situation breaks them apart, they find themselves at Brooks University at the same time unexpectedly. Given a second chance to secure a lifetime with his angel, Cole is determined to not only make Ally his again, but figure out what pulled them apart. I'll tell ya, it's truly heartbreaking and gives this HEA so much deserved satisfaction, I have never wanted a couple to ride off into the sunset together, happily, in my life. These characters deserved so much more than what they were given growing up and I rooted for them with my whole chest, to the point where I was a sobbing, blubbering mess by the end of it. Cole is deliciously determined to keep Ally with him and sue me but a secret tattoo will get me, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Listen, we all know that I am a daily advocate for all things Hannah Gray, I adore her writing and every single thing she puts out. I genuinely cannot believe it took me this long to read this book and it has catapulted into one of my top couples of hers. 5/5 stars. Bring on Knox and Sloane babyyyyy.
