Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Revisado: 12-12-16
Unless you are lazy and want reassurance that it's okay to be mediocre in life, this book is not for you.
5 hours of complete garbage. Sorry. How do books like this receive 4.7 star average ratings? In all honesty, I don't think that even the author knows what message he's trying to deliver.
The book in a nutshell - "Don't bother trying, life is shit anyway. The people who don't care and don't try are the ones that succeed" What a load of horse sh...
If you know anybody who you consider successful, ask them if they got to where they are by trying or not trying. That said, I think you already know the answer.

Historia
All of us have what it takes to make it in today's competitive and changing world. You may have doubted your ability to get the job done in the past, but something else may have been getting in the way of your success. The key to ultimate achievement has very little to do with your education or skill level. The secret to accomplishing great things is simple: Find and pursue the kind of work you are meant to do - your "purpose."

Motivational, for sure.
Revisado: 11-20-15
Ok, so Les, aka "The Motivator" speaks brilliantly, and is without doubt inspirational.
However, there is not a whole lot of actionable content in here, and that always bothers me in a book with a "how to" title.
Nevertheless, this is a great source of motivation, and I do enjoy to listen to it now and then.

Historia
In the tradition of their number-one blockbuster Why We Want You to Be Rich, the all-star team of best-selling authors Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki reunites to teach listeners what it takes to be successful and influential entrepreneurs in Midas Touch. What makes some business owners wildly successful? What separates the entrepreneurs who build businesses from ones who just seem to create more work for themselves? Here are answers.

Revisado: 11-20-15
I have to say, I'm a Trump fan, so when he writes, I buy.
With that said, there are some gems in here, as well as a whole lot of motivation. Both of these men are extremely successful in their own right, and hearing their stories is humbling. There's a lot of inspiration, and a small amount of actionable content. Nevertheless, it is one of the more valuable reads on the topic in my opinion.

First: a disclaimer - if you have not already done research into the "flipping" method of real estate investment, please do so before you purchase this book. Real estate "flippers" are taxed heavily, so to be successful, you have to have some serious growth plans.
With that said, this book does exactly what it claims to - I've never read an instructional book with such clear guidelines on its stated topic. Esajian does not skip a beat, and I commend him for that. He does not leave a stone unturned. This is your lifeline if you want to flip - study it diligently.

Repetitive, but solid information nonetheless.
Revisado: 11-20-15
I was trying to decide whether or not to copy and paste this review across all of Kiyosaki's Rich Dad related books, and I came to the conclusion that I would. Here's why:
The information his books is repurposed many times over, and while there is some new information in each book, there is really an embarrassing amount of repetition. I hate to say it, but it does seem like Robert is trying to squeeze blood out of a stone at this point.
There is a level of deception in repeating his information - readers like myself who value his work will buy all of his books, to find that they have spent $200 on an overall total of two books worth of unique content.
With all of that said, I don't complain, because that $200 has been a very, very lucrative investment in my life. Without reading Kiyosaki's books, my current mindset would not be the way that it is, and I would not be in the position that I currently find myself in.
Overall, if you haven't read Rich Dad books before, and you wish to be successful and wealthy in business and investing, you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not read them. Just please be aware, once you have read one or two, you will have to sift through some regurgitated content to find the hidden gems.

Historia
Few would argue with the fact that on many fronts, we are a world in crisis. And there are two sides to every crisis, be it a leadership crisis, an economic crisis, an education crisis, or a moral crisis. The two sides to crisis are danger and opportunity. Robert Kiyosaki's new book, Second Chance: for Your Money and Your Life, uses the lessons from the past and a brutal assessment of the present to prepare listeners to see - and seize - the future.
