This author used queer every single time something was weird or off. It’s like they didn’t know there are other expressions to use for something odd. Queer is a great word but when you hear it 100+ times in one story you begin to tire of it quickly!!

Not a believable story line

Nothing about this story seemed realistic to me. I knew who the bad guy was from the very beginning and the main character was such a whiny snot that I could not even enjoy the story because I’m thinking how awful this is the entire time! I listened to the entire book to give it a fair chance to get better and it never did. Don’t waste your time!

SO disappointed after such a long wait!

I fell in love with Shari Lapena after her first book and I've read everyone since and this one was so disappointing! Very much a knock off "Clue" story and not that engaging. Her first books left me guessing until the very end but not this one. Characters were entitled and not at all personable. I couldn't find one character to relate to. I pre-ordered this book months ago and I'm sad I wasted my credit!
