Great Fantasy Books

I really enjoyed these two books and loved having them in the same audio. There is fantasy, adventure, and romance. The chemistry between the characters is great. Both stories are fabulous, drawing you right in. There are a lot of twists and turns along with the action and adventure. I never felt like it was too much to keep up with.

I enjoyed the narration. Brennan Rossi has a fantastic range for the many characters. I was never confused about which character was speaking.

If you’re a Lauren Rowe fan and have been wanting for the book that would never be written. Wait no more and you will not be disappointed. For fans, you know Henn has done a lot for his friends and we get to see Henn’s side of all those things. We also know Henn and Hannah are two peas in a pod and now we get a front row seat on all the good stuff. I feel like Lauren should have ended the book a la Paul Harvey with “and now you know the rest of the story”.

If you have not ready any or all of Lauren’s books fear not, there are no spoilers in “Hacker in Love”. Which had to be a feat for Lauren to accomplish given how Henny is woven into some major parts of the other books. This fact takes nothing away from this book, because you don’t know what you don’t know. Those things aren’t key to this book.

No exaggeration, i pretty much had a permanent smile on my face while I listened to this book. As for the audio, it’s tough to beat a John Lane - Lily Reynolds narration. Those two are magic together.

Another fantastic

Another fantastic book by Lauren Blakely. The characters are awesome, the chemistry between them sizzles. The story is fun, flirty, and sexy. Together Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are awesome! Having a full cast performance really kicked it up a notch. The "bloopers" at the end are always a favorite of mine.

Hot, Hot, Hot!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!!! I have read/listened to all of Lauren Rowe's books and was hoping that we would get Reed's story. Lauren did not disappoint. The chemistry between Reed and Georgie is sizzling. The story is fantastic, the banter between these two characters is great....laugh out loud fun! Georgie is a total bad ass. She takes no crap from anyone, what is dished out to her she serves right back. Once I started reading I didn't want to stop. I can't wait for Beautiful Liar.

As to the narration, I really wasn't sure how I would feel with Jacob and Andi narrating instead of Lauren and John. But from the start their was never a doubt that Lauren made an awesome choice with these two. Andi delivers Georgie with stellar confidence and the perfect amount of sass. Reeds character flows from Jacob like a smooth whisky. I could listen to these two read a phone book.

A great listen!

Another excellent addition to the Border Series and there is no better narrator than Tim Campbell. An Earl who needs to marry and a lass that wishes to marry for love. Their happily ever after is complicated and it’s a great story with wonderful characters.

Excellent Historical Romance

One of my favorite authors and one of my favorite narrators, a perfect combination. This is a great story with wonderful characters and they are magnificently brought to life by Tim Campbell. Alex's story is a reminder that things aren't always what they seem. There is action, adventure and of course romance! Any of the Border Series books can be read stand alone, so don't hesitate to pick this one even if you haven't heard or read the others.

Excellent Series Prequel

This story is a novella, so there is a lot of story delivered compactly. I enjoyed this story and the characters. Not unusual in this time, Cora and Adam's marriage is arranged. This union is set in order to bring Peace between the English and Scott's. While Adam is willing to see his Country's needs met, Cora is no so willing to enter into what she believes will be a loveless marriage especially with an Englishman. This steamy love story will leave you wanting more.

Notorious, yes but irredeemable ???

Reid Kerr has the reputation of a notorious womanizer and is determined to never marry. He does not feel worthy of the position of being the Larid's Second in his clan. Sometimes all you need is that one person who sees the real you, the one hidden from everyone - including yourself.

This is another fantastically written story by Cecelia Mecca. Her characters are well developed and I truly enjoy the historical aspect of her books. This book is a part of a series but can be enjoyed stand alone. If it is the first of the Border Series book that you are reading, be warned - it won't be the last!!!

What destiny is it???

This book wraps up the story of the Isle of the Eight Lairds. But I do not believe it will be the last we see of these characters. This is one of the few stories where I think it is much better if you read/listen to the other books in the series. It is also another wonderful story and brings closure to the open stories within this series. A lot of love, happiness, and working together to defeat the evil witch. I highly recommend this book and the series.

More from the Isle of Eight Lairds

I love this story line, the Isle of the Eight Lairds stories have time travel, romance, and 3 kinds of magic! Kate is another strong woman and I love how her story is intertwined with her sister and the others from the Isle of Eight Lairds along with some previous story characters. One of the greatest things about Bethany Claire's books are that although they are part of a series they are all truly stand alone. But I will warn you, if you pick up one -- you will want to hear or read the rest of them!!

I listen to a lot of audio books and Lily Collingwood is one of my favorite narrators. She has such a way with the characters and story that you feel like you are a part of it. I feel equally emotional when I listen to her narration or read the book, with Ms. Collingwood you get the entire book experience,
