Historia
When Hugh and Kate’s newborn son is taken to the church to be baptized, they are astounded to find that the locked font is completely dry. The possibility of a leak is quickly ruled out, and just as Hugh is beginning to wonder if there may be a sinister explanation for the stolen holy water, Father Robert is found lying motionless by the rood screen in a pool of blood.

Historia
Starting on September 11th, 2012, al-Qa'ida carried out a series of terrorist attacks on the U.S. Consulate and CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya, killing four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. With over 150 attackers at the Consulate alone, the attack was the largest terrorist attack on a U.S. diplomatic mission in history. And yet, the case remained unsolved. The terrorists were never brought to justice because they had not been identified until now.

Truth is good
Revisado: 06-20-24
It is amazing to get the truth of the fiasco of Benghazi. Clinton is still a waste of humanity, but so is Obama and the incompetent elitist sycophants he hired. It is absolutely incredible that the news media continues to cover for all of this disaster, including the show trial of a guy who came in after the fact to loot the embassy. Thank you to these two incredibly brave and honest Americans for explaining so much of what happened, not only in Benghazi, but the ongoing workings of the terrorist group.

Historia
There’s a literary niche for all tastes including those who think that either Agatha Christie wasn’t funny enough or that PG Wodehouse didn’t feature anywhere near as many baffling murders as he could have. The Case of the Canterfell Codicil is a classic, cozy, locked-room mystery written in the style of an homage to PG Wodehouse.

Disappointing
Revisado: 06-07-23
There was definitely more of a political and Uber feminist bent to this book than the first. Or maybe it was just more overt. There was also much more foul language this time, which would indicate it will continue to escalate in each of the books following. I will not continue on with this series

Historia
When you think about Christian history, you might think of the first thousand years - the events of Jesus' life, the acts of the apostles, the establishment of the church, and the various councils that established theological doctrine. But the history of Christianity from the Reformation to the present is equally dramatic and profoundly relevant. It's a story about people as much as theology - our cultures, our politics, our relationship to the world.

So disappointed
Revisado: 05-25-21
I pre-ordered this book over a month ago and was really looking forward to it becoming available. Now I am so very disappointed. The gratuitous profanity is ridiculous. I am going to return this book. The plot seemed to be an interesting premise, but I cannot take the profane vulgarities.
