Ok where to begin...there is so much death!!! Lol
Let's start with the story. You jump RIGHT INTO IT and it's all gas, no breaks. At times this book gets kinda exhausting. There is so much training, death, fighting, death, training, death, fighting, death, etc. It gets repetitive because so many want to kill Violet but I had to take breaks reading this. What it could use is scenery descriptions. It's minimal to zero. Your riding a dragon, yes I know we are flying in the clouds but give me some scenery details below you, or what your flying through. Providing this could have been perfect for a brain break since it's all gas no breaks once you start.
Otherwise very interesting storywise. As a huge game of thrones fan, of course I still love it! Lol
Now for the audiobook... Since I saw Teddy Hamilton was in it, I was sold! Teddy Hamilton is the only reason why it gets a star, but honestly I don't see the point of why he was in the book. In my personal opinion, I believe their marketing team was thinking "how can we get major sales in the audiobook category? Add Teddy Hamilton!!" Teddy is only in there for a few chapters, I believe less than 5... It's so minimal.
Now as for Rebecca Soler, unprofessional. The first third of the book she is sick. She is so clogged up with boogers it's kinda gross and very annoying. Afterwards was much better until the end. At the end she started speaking soooo fast during scenes which makes sense but it became much more exhausting to listen too.
My professional opinion, read the book instead of listening to it.

As a woman whose husband is very into F1 racing, NASCAR, race cars, ATVs, motocross, aka anything with an engine, this was a dream and the perfect read for me!! Lol
This has been on my TBR for quite a while, but as a mostly audiobook listener, I've been patiently waiting for them to be released. Book one: Throttled has been on audiobook for a bit, but now seeing the preorders for the rest of the series, I gave it the green like to come off my TBR. (I'm so glad that I did!!) I'm only slightly annoyed that I can't listen to them all back to back, but the rest of the audiobooks are on my pre-order. (I've never pre-ordered an audiobook, so this means a lot. 😂)
Throttled is about an F1 race team who already has their superstar racer (Noah Slade), and they signed on his enemy as one of his new teammates (Santiago Alatorre.) Not only is there tension between the drivers as well as amazing backstory per each driver, but Santiago's sister (Maya) is also traveling with him during the race season. She slowly sees the real Noah Slade and starts falling for him.
Not only did I love that there is actual racing within the book, but I also love the culture around, which you'll see and explore. The Audiobook Narrators did an amazing job too!

Off Sides was a quick read, which was perfect for catching up on my reading goals since I feel behind. Off Sides is a hockey romance who meets a lovely lady at a bar/restaurant. Ryan thinks she is beautiful, but she isn't what his family would "picture" for their amazing hockey player son. Ryan also becomes protective of how his teammates talk about Danny.
The rest of this Series is available for free, and I might try them all before they leave the plus catalog!

Tim is a single dad who's on vacation with his son in New Orleans. While on vacation, Tim bumps into his first love and we then read/listen to their relationship rekindle and spark!
Off Duty is a Novella and was a really cute palette cleaner and mini break. This was my second Off Limits book within the series and I will be continuing!
