Historia
Claire Thompson's trip to the family beach house has gotten far more complicated than she'd ever expected. Grieving her late husband's sudden death, Claire and her daughter, along with Claire's sister and mom, are struggling to make sense of the mess he's left them with. How on earth did he have another family she never knew about? How did he keep that secret for so many years? Claire fights with her feelings as she tries to find a way forward. All she really knows is that her husband wasn't the man she thought he was.

Abundant happy endings are in this story. I left off one star for the lack of misery in the story.

Historia
The number one New York Times best-selling story about American Olympic triumph in Nazi Germany, the inspiration for the PBS documentary The Boys of '36, broadcast to coincide with the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 80th anniversary of the boys' gold medal race. Out of the depths of the Depression comes an irresistible story about beating the odds and finding hope in the most desperate of times - the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant.

Historia
Four years before Nina Totenberg was hired at NPR, where she cemented her legacy as a prizewinning reporter, and nearly twenty-two years before Ruth Bader Ginsburg was appointed to the Supreme Court, Nina called Ruth. A reporter for The National Observer, Nina was curious about Ruth’s legal brief, asking the Supreme Court to do something revolutionary: declare a law that discriminated “on the basis of sex” to be unconstitutional. That call launched a remarkable, nearly fifty-year friendship.

The fight for women’s rights and equality for all as witnessed by Ruth
Revisado: 01-20-23
Outstanding. Expected more person to person dinner talk, did not happen. An educational learning process of the courts, the struggles women have endorsed forever and the challenges Ruth beat down for the benefit of women over the years. Challenges Ruth pioneered in equality for women in pay as an example. Thoroughly loved the story.
