More knowledge per page than Proverbs?

OK that might be an exaggeration but had I read this book 25 years ago before starting my first business, I could have avoided dozens of problems, saved hundreds of thousands of dollars and pushed up growth by at least a decade.....assuming I was wise enough as a 24 year old skull of mush to put the wisdom into practice. I learned many of these lessons the hard way. If you're starting a company, you must start here.

As the saying goes, you can learn something from everyone.
Narration was poor - can't believe the number of times he read http:// or www - please - if you don't know how to find a website, you wouldn't be listening to audible.
Loved his ideas on purging the unimportant - i.e. news, tv, etc. He's dead on. Building processes in a business to limit email - Amen! Virtual assistants - genius.
On the other hand, suggesting that people lie or work less to "prove" that remote work is more productive is the cry of someone who lacks character.
In short - good book by a bad person. Probably a better book to read due to the narration but well worth either due to some great ideas. Just don't get sucked into compromising standards.
Still can't get over that he would actually brag about winning the contest by finding loopholes. A man of integrity would return the trophy.

I love great business books. This isn't one of them. E Myth Revisited was wonderful. I managed to suffer through 2 CD's of E Myth Mastery but couldn't take any more. It's the most painful droning of someone spewing words without information imaginable. Save yourself the pain and read E Myth Revisited twice.
