The only thing that was a drawback was a little focused on the romantic aspect , That beat around the Bush all throughout the book In a high school like dialog. Other than that it had some pretty good insightful survival Tips, tricks and ideas in a post apocalyptic setting. Surprising to hear that the pandemic inside this story wiped out about 99.9% of the entire us population. A little bit scary to think of. Good listen happy I heard it.

3 - 5 minute Christian monologues each chapter

I'm a Christian and I don't mind Christian undertones in books that II listen to. usually really enjoy it. Yet this book really overdid it. I struggled so hard to get to the end of this book. Overall the story is pretty good . the 1st 3 to 5 chapters Sound like you're just reading straight from The Bible. there were several times that I almost hung this book up.
Decent story , good character developmen, nice ending. Yet if you are not religious, Is probably would not be your cup of tea and you would probably return you would probably return the book after the 1st chapter.
