I might be a little biased since this is my favorite series, but this graphic version of the audiobook is fantastic. Loved every minute of it.

A tragic tale of a kidnapped baby and an abandoned toddler that became the life of the author. He was obsessed to find out the truth and then realized the terrible reality of the awful people he was born to. It’s also sad that he jeopardized the family stability of his daughter to search for people who abandoned him and possibly murdered his twin.

Loved it until the very end.

I loved this story of a nerdy boy from a dreary 1980’s Liverpool and his obsession with everything American. His dream come true of eventually becoming an American was so satisfying. Then the Epilogue from a elitist New Yorker’s political view that is so out of touch with real America that left me sad and disappointed.

Never marry a bimbo that hates your children

I feel very sorry for Casey Kasems older children. I have no sympathy for Casey Kasem himself. He married a gold digging bimbo who abused and hated his children and spawned a greedy hateful person just like herself. It’s unfortunate that CK’s life ended the way it did, but what do you expect when you allow your wife to treat your children like that for decades. He was a coward.

Worst Douglas book I’ve read

While I’ve enjoyed most of the books I’ve read by this author, I couldn’t finish this one. His bleeding heart liberal views spewed out in this one. Calls a wife beater who was convicted and executed for killing his 3 children in a fire a martyr. Skip this one.

Great Series, Great Narrator!

What did you love best about Dark Needs at Night's Edge?

I love that Conrad, who is a supposed evil vampire killer falls in love with the heroine. He is so sweet and loving to her. I like that Neomi loved her life and made no apologies about the way she lived..

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Conrad and Neomi equally. I felt that the depth of the characters was fleshed out so well.

Which character – as performed by Robert Petkoff – was your favorite?

If I had to pick one it would be Conrad, but Robert Petkoff does them all so well. His accents and expressions are spot on. He just seems to really get the story and characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I didn't want it to end. I want to go re-listen to the series (so far) again!

Amazing!

Now this is how an Audiobook is done! Natalie Ross and Phil Gigante do so much more than "read" this book, they bring all the characters to life. I read the book in print first and loved it but I was blown away with this audiobook. An amazing ending to a great series....loved it!

Disappointing

I really wanted to like this audiobook because I absoutely love the book, but I am so disappointed! The narrator does an OK job with Cat's voice, but Bones' accent is so atrocious that I had to stop listening at chapter 5. Unfortunately if she does the rest of the series I won't buy it...sorry
