Historia
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

Absolute must for fans of the first three books!
Revisado: 10-08-20
Let me begin by saying that I am an unabashed fanboy for the first three books in this series. I have re-read them multiple times (Ok re-listened) and bought this just about the day it was announced for pre-order.
I don't know what the magic is - but Mr. Taylor has managed to bring a whole new story to the Bobiverse - while keeping the characters that at least I have come to know and love intact. Do not ask me how this was done - but its a worthy successor to the first three books, while opening the door to future stories.
I have gone through the first three books about once a year since purchasing them (sometimes twice) this will be added to the repeated download list on my Audible app.
Way to go!

But the reality is she's drowning in debt, has no prospects, and is forced to move back to Queens, where her parents remind her daily that they are very interested in grandchildren. Then, one morning, she is kidnapped, interviewed, and hired as an administrative assistant by the Corporation for UltraHuman Protection. Superheroes for hire, using their powers for good. A Normal Life in an Abnormal World

Fun and not too serious!
Revisado: 05-01-20
I normally go for serious science fiction - but this one is a different case. I picked it up on a whim and found myself sucked into the world of CUP - a world full of super heroes - super villains - and a family that just can't quite accept Andrea. (Page out of my own life there!) It is a fun ride through this world and I found myself liking it so much - I bought the second book in the series as well. An enjoyable ride through an alternative world and quite fun! Highly recommended!

The truth is still out there. The iconic hit that had millions searching for UFOs back in the 90s is now an exhilarating audio event, only from Audible. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reunite as FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, joining an ensemble of original cast members in an out-of-this-world production.

Everything I could hope for!
Revisado: 07-15-18
this production takes advantage of modern sound recording mastering and the power of a series like the X-Files to pull in big names, big talent, and great writing. It feels like a audio version of a lost television series, that never aired. I'm sure this has a lot to do with the excellent sound effects, not to mention the story. If you are an X-Files fan this is well worth the listen.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Shockingly Good!
Revisado: 03-30-17
Stephen King is known, and will probably forever be known, as a horror writer. Despite sharing a home state and having attended the high school where Mr. King was once a teacher, I have never read any of his novels, before this one. For lack of a better term - I don't "Do" horror. This book is truly incredible. I now understand why Mr. King has made such a name for himself as a writer. The detail, descriptions and narrative combine to create a world so convincing that one simply accepts that this world is how it was. Time travel is an old concept in writing and has repeatedly been used (and occasionally abused) in works of literature, TV and movies for a very long time. It is genuinely nice to see a take on it that is not tired and cliche - but instead thought provoking and inspiring.
The book is one that you would describe as a 'page turner' or in the case of the audio version 'sitting in the driveway listener' - you simply do not want to stop listening. Over 30 hours of audio that never feels tired - isn't predictable - and will keep you wanting more.
One interesting note, contained in the afterward read by Mr. King himself, was that he started this book while still a full time English teacher - back in 1972.
Performance was top notch - the story was excellent and I cannot say enough about how good a book this is.

Better than the last book
Revisado: 06-12-16
Cut out features characters from the last Dave Riley novel and an interesting twist on who the Bad guys are. Although it does suffer slightly from a dated technology level, no one calls them 'portable' phones anymore, the writing and plot are very good. Highly recommended for Dave Riley fans and would make a decent introduction into the series even though it relies on Characters introduced in the previous book. Performance is excellent as I have come to expect from this reader.

A classic mystery
Revisado: 04-22-16
Some books stand the test of time. This is one of those books. Any fan of mystery novels that has not read this is passing over one of the definitive mystery novels of all time. The book has immortalized a train that will always stand for luxury. But more than that, uses the circumstances of a train to build tension and dramatic effect. It also provides an example of when justice might be served, but the guilty party never comes up on trial. Wonderfully performance and an amazing story.

Absolutely Hilarious
Revisado: 04-01-16
I figured this was an April Fool's Joke - guessing that it would wind up being some sort of laughing with a 'did you really think we'd have our reader's read from the encyclopedia?' However -it really is expert readers reading portions of encyclopedia entries. Would I recommend this to a friend? It depends if that friend was really bored and had never heard of Wikipedia... It is however in and of itself hilarious and does give one a chance to listen to a very large number of readers in a concentrated form.

Military science fiction meets an underdog story
Revisado: 03-03-15
The Ark Royal and her crew are not the finest in this future British Navy. What no one knew was this Captain and Crew are underrated. A great story that is well written, the story is interesting in that many of the sci-fi clichés are not followed. Will pick up the next book!
