Excellent Addition to the Wayward Children series

I absolutely adore the entire Wayward Children series and this one was no exception. The narration was excellent and the story was so good.

I was really hoping we would get Nadya’s door story after gettting glimpses of her in other books. Like all of the other books, this one made my heart hurt for the children and the things they went through that lead them to their doors.

I was a little disappointed in the ending but only because I wanted more.

Excellent Narration

I enjoyed listening to One by One. The narrator was excellent at portraying the different POVs and it was hard to discern if the unknown character was male or female until it was revealed.

As for the story itself, I didn’t see the twist coming. I thought it was going to be one thing and I was way off. I’ve really enjoyed every book I’ve either read or listened to by Freida McFadden so far and this one did not disappoint

Great Narrator for a Great Story

No matter how many times I read Mad About the Banker, it is still my favorite Piper Rayne book. Molly Mermelstein did a fantastic job with this book and this whole series. The way she is able to portray all of the different voices with each one sounding distinct is amazing to me and I am truly impressed.

Lennon is my favorite character from the Modern Love series and her story is even better in audio. Ms. Mermelstein did an excellent job of portraying the emotions and it let you feel those emotions that much more. Piper Rayne wrote an excellent book and picked the perfect narrator. I'm sad that this series has ended but love that Piper and Rayne keep writing more. I can't wait to listen to the rest of their books on audio!

Even Better in Audio

Hooked on the Boxer might be my favorite Piper Rayne book which is hard to say because they are all good. I loved it the first time I read it but hearing it in audio has made me love it even more.

Molly Mermelstein does a fantastic job once again of capturing these characters and I really enjoyed listening to her voice. I can't wait to hear the next book!

Perfect Narrator for this story!

Driving Whiskey Wild is my first audio book by Melissa Foster. It is also my first audio book with Paul Woodson narrating. He gave this story so much life and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Melissa Foster writes an MC book like no other I have read. I typically don't care for them but I figured I would give it a shot since she is one of my favorite authors. The Whiskeys are tough and run a biker club so I wasn't expecting to like them because it's just not my thing. However, they are also hard working, have a strong set of values, and stay true to themselves no matter what. You get the tough, hard hitting story that comes with an MC romance but you also get some of the sweet, tender romance that Melissa Foster is great at.

As far as Paul Woodson goes, his narration gave the characters so much. He set the tone for each character and I could really feel the emotions in his voice.

The Real Deal

I really enjoyed Real Deal when I read the kindle version so I knew I would love the audio version. At first I didn't care for either Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. I thought they didn't match the characters. However, the longer I listened, I realized how wrong I was. They brought the characters to life and I ended up really enjoying the audio. The only thing that I couldn't get over was Lily's voice. She sounded way too old for a 5 year old so sometimes I forgot she was the one speaking.

Fantastic listen

I loved this short story from Lili Valente and these narrators knocked it out of the park! Their voices were spot on with how I imagined this story sounding and it added so much depth to an already fantastic story. I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by Lance Greenfield or Erin Mallon.

Great Story of Hope

Believe is the story of one woman's loss and the emotions and feelings she goes through on her journey of healing. You will go through all of those emotions with her and if you have ever lost anyone you were close to, you will know exactly where she is coming from. It's hard not to question what you believe after you lose someone and I thought the author did an excellent job of portraying this. 

Shelly Hickman wrote and narrated this book and I really enjoyed both the writing and the narration. Her voice is clear and crisp and the emotion in the writing comes through in the narration. 

From the title, it might be assumed that this is a spiritual book but it is not. There is strong language involved. This book is about hope and healing and I really enjoyed it.

Charmed by the Narrator

I love all of Piper Rayne's books so much and I was ecstatic when I learned they were releasing an audio version of The Bartender. I didn't think the book could get any better but I was blown away by how much I loved listening to this book.

Molly Mermelstein brought such life to these characters and I don't think anyone could have done it better. She truly encompassed the essence of this story and delivered it wrapped up with a nice bow on top with the emotion and voices she brought to the table.

I can't wait to hear the rest of the Modern Love series!!

A Love So Dangerous

I absolutely love this series! These narrators gave this story so much life. I thought reading it was good but after listening to Lance Greenfield and Erin Mallon, I feel that reading it on my own didn't do this book any justice. They brought so much to the characters and this story! Lili Valente is one of my favorite authors and this book will show you why. I can't wait to listen to A Love So Deadly!
