I have been reading Mercedes Lackey’s Valdemar books since I picked up my first copy of one of them. Coincidentally that book happened to be Arrows of the Queen, the book that started it all. I have since purchased every one of them, rereading many of them several times. They are my go to books when I want to revisit an old friend.

Valdemar was an excellent conclusion to the founding story of Valdemar. It definitely confirmed what I had long suspected regarding the companions. Even though we have long been told the synopsis of how the heralds came to be, it was wonderful to read or in this case hear the full story of how it came about. As is always the case in these books, the characters are wonderful, very likeable, some lovable, and most endearing. Having each sub series consist of trilogies allows us to see the character evolvement and really flesh out the stories.

Paul Woodson provides an excellent rendition which enhances the story. I will be reading and or listening to this story again and again as time goes by.

Owlknight is a wonderful conclusion to the Owl Mage Trilogy. I loved how the story brought peoples of different cultures together to reach a common goal.

I'm a long time fan of the Reverend Annabelle Dixon Cozy Mysteries and have enjoyed the entire series. Alison Golden and Jamie Vougeot have created a terrific character whose methodology makes me think of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple with the village life containing just a touch of the Vicar of Dibley. Penny Scott-Andrews narration enhances the story with her pleasant British voice.

Nora Roberts has once again excelled in the Fantasy Genre! The setting, the story, the characters were wonderful! Barrie
Kreinik’s wonderful performance enhanced the listening experience. I am going to immediately jump into the next audiobook of this trilogy.

Leslie Wolfe has left me speechless!

Once again, Leslie Wolfe has exceeded my expectations with her latest psychological thriller "The Girl You Killed". I have to find another way to say I think this is her best book yet because I seem to be saying it with each of her new releases lately. The plots keep seeming to get twistier. The characters keep being well developed. I keep turning the pages faster to find out what is actually happening.

Gwendolyn Druyor is very good at putting such emotion in her voice that she makes me feel what the character feels. She makes enough distinction in each voice that it is easy to keep track of who is speaking in conversations.

I always look forward to each Leslie book and enjoy reading them as much as I do listening to them. I own each book she has published either through purchasing it myself or being gifted it. I appreciate the gifts. I would have purchased anyway as I just can't imagine missing out on a book written by Leslie Wolfe.

I've been a fan of Phyllis Whitney for many years. I love everything about her books.
The Ebony Swan, like her others, is filled with foreboding and suspense. Anna Fields has done a wonderful job of of performing it.

Phyllis Whitney gave me my love for gothic novels. Star Flight is a good example of her books. That touch of mysticism and increasing sense of danger adds to a story that is always good to revisit.

I've sampled a few audio dramas but could never seem to get into the story as they were too distracting. I really liked the audible story of The Black Book so decided to try out The Coldest Case as it was from The Black Book series, I am glad I did. I really enjoyed it. I think it probably helps to have listened or read The Black Book as you are then familiar with the main characters. I found this audible to be a good story with excellent cast. Listened to it straight through aside from brief interruptions.

A thriller worthy of John Saul or Dean Koontz!

The Last Word by Timothy Moonlight is a terrific thriller. While reading it I found it to be reminiscent of the skills of John Saul and Dean Koontz. It was one of the best thrillers I have read in a while.

Claire Bigsby is shocked by the death of her father but unable to properly mourn him as a series of strange events occur that seem to be somehow connected to her father's company. She finds her life in danger and does not know where to turn or who to trust. If she is to survive she must find out who wants her dead and why.

Liam Taylor did a fine job of narrating the story.

I look forward to reading further works by Timothy Moonlight.

I did receive a free copy of this audio book at my request from the author. This review is voluntarily given.

I really enjoy mysteries when I get to the end without figuring out whodunit and why. The Judas Murders audible definitely fits that criteria. The story is written by Ken Oder and is done in a style in the way the events are presented that brings the old Dragnet episodes to my mind.

In an area that is usually relatively quiet there is suddenly a number of deaths. Until the murder of Betty Lou they had all seemed to be by natural causes, The investigation into Betty Lou's death brought up questions about the earlier deaths causing them to be investigated once more.

Joe Geoffrey's voice seemed to fit the Sheriff's character perfectly or at least what I imagined him to be like.

I received a free copy of this audible. I have voluntarily left this review which is my honest opinion of it.
