Excellent. Use this first before Rosetta Stone
Revisado: 11-21-19
Paul Noble does an amazing job making French structure and grammar easy to understand, learn, and retain. I had been using Rosetta Stone, but found myself lost on structure. I then used Paul Noble's French and I had so many "a- ha, now I get it!" moments that I paused Rosetta and will finish Noble first. Amazing job. A definite must if yo want to learn French essentials.

Historia
What hidden skill links successful people in all walks of life? What helps them make smart decisions? The answer is surprisingly simple: They know how to ask the right questions at the right time. Questions help us break down barriers, discover secrets, solve puzzles, and imagine new ways of doing things. But few of us know how to question in a methodical way. Emmy-award-winning journalist and media expert Frank Sesno aims to change that with Ask More.

This book was painfully redundant. Easily reduced to 20 pages, and that would be stretch. Summary: Be the best, be reliable, kick butt. That's it!

Historia
Written to commemorate the Bicentennial in 1976, James A. Michener's magnificent saga of the West is an enthralling celebration of the frontier. Brimming with the glory of America's past, the story of Colorado - the Centennial State - is manifested through its people: Lame Beaver, the Arapaho chieftain and warrior, and his Comanche and Pawnee enemies; Levi Zendt, fleeing with his child bride from the Amish country; and the cowboy, Jim Lloyd, who falls in love with a wealthy and cultured Englishwoman, Charlotte Seccombe.

Decent story that keeps you interested.
Revisado: 04-25-17
Would you consider the audio edition of Centennial to be better than the print version?
It's no wonder that Colorado barely has any Indian Reservations. This is essentially the story about how "native" Colorodoans (settlers) brutally wiped out the truly native inhabitants. I wouldn't be so proud about my "Colorado Native" sticker or "Colorado Pioneer" license plate after reading this book. Bloody and shaming.
Any additional comments?
Good character development. Interesting story, although brutal and sad.

Wake up to the manipulation all around you! Great book that will open your eyes and move you from victimized robot responding to external commands and stimuli, to an aware, conscious person who takes control of their actions.

The Hoarder in You provides practical advice for decluttering and organizing, including how to tame the emotional pull of acquiring additional things, make order out of chaos by getting a handle on clutter, and create an organizational system that reduces stress and anxiety. Dr. Zasio also shares some of the most serious cases of hoarding that she’s encountered, and explains how we can learn from these extreme examples - no matter where we are on the hoarding continuum.

Focus is on folks with a disorder.
Revisado: 04-25-17
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Way too much fluff here, and seems to be directed to folks who have a hoarding disorder.
Any additional comments?
Not useful at all if you just have clutter. Might be helpful if you feel you have a real disorder.

A rehash of David Allen GTD and Covey's 7 Habits.
Revisado: 04-25-17
What would have made Procrastinate on Purpose better?
No real new ideas here. A rehash of David Allen's Getting Things Done and Covey's 7 Habits. Terminology is different, but so much else is the same, including illustrations. I strongly recommend the books by Allen and Covey. Much more practical and original.
What was most disappointing about Rory Vaden’s story?
Nothing fresh. Rehash.

Lots of info. Will take work to apply the material.
Revisado: 07-10-16
This book contains a lot of detailed information. It is well-researched a worthwhile read. However, the author really should have assembled a few key takeaways at the end of each chapter or section. It is sometimes difficult to recall or discern exactly what the two or three major takeaways or applications might be. As it stands now, this book reads more like a text book than a self-help book. But it's a good place to start if you want to better understand your habits.
