updates on skill and talents need revision
Revisado: 01-24-18
the audio format needs some work since there are several updates on the characters skill levels etc. In book format the read would be quick but listening to 10 skills with point read outs is a bit monotonous. I like knowing how the character has progressed but...

Historia
Jack Daly is an international expert in sales and sales management, bringing 30 plus years of field proven experience from a starting base with CPA firm Arthur Andersen to the CEO level of several national companies. The thrust here is creating an environment in your business where your employees don’t begrudgingly come into work, but rather are excited to be working at your company. If we get the culture right, everything else in our business will be easier. If we don’t get it right, all else will be hard.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hyper Sales Growth to be better than the print version?
No
Any additional comments?
Lose the intro telling the reader how great he was and this book would be great.

Historia
Built To Last, the defining management study of the 90s, showed how great companies triumph over time and how long-term sustained performance can be engineered into the DNA of an enterprise from the very beginning. But what about companies that are not born with great DNA? How can good companies, mediocre companies, even bad companies achieve enduring greatness?

Fannie Mae and Circuit City are Great huh?
Revisado: 04-23-16
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The years have proven this as just sort of a correlation vs causality confusion. Many of the companies are now defunct or bankrupt. But this is more like a horoscope in that it is generally true for everyone.
Would you ever listen to anything by Jim Collins again?
Not likely unless if found that he changed his philosophy.

Historia
In a world inundated with sales books on getting to yes, this audiobook recommends just the opposite, focusing on how increasing your failure rate can greatly accelerate your movement toward ultimate success. Go for No! chronicles four days in the life of fictional character Eric Bratton, a call-reluctant copier salesman who wakes up one morning to find himself in a strange house with no idea of how he got there.

Better business sales model and better way of life
Revisado: 04-23-16
Would you listen to Go for No! again? Why?
Yes I definitely will. I purchased copies for all my sales managers.
What other book might you compare Go for No! to and why?
Hyper Sales Growth by Jack Daly is not anywhere as specific and is much longer but is a great build on from this as your starting point.
Which character – as performed by Richard Fenton – was your favorite?
na
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes
Any additional comments?
We've been looking at it this way for years but having a book that takes an hour to listen to, allows me to give it away and get our people to hear the message from someone else.

Promise
Revisado: 02-12-06
This book shows its author as excentric but I don't think he takes his excenticities too far in the novel. The book is part of Trilogy and is just the first book. I plan to read or listen to the next two when they come out. Mainly because I am intrigued by the story line. Definitely not because I believe in the underliing political message.
