Poorly written. Laughably bad narration. Audio levels are jarringly uneven. Had to check several times that this wasn’t AI written and narrated.
Also,it reminded me of audiobooks recorded decades ago when audiobooks were yet to find their groove.
Can’t stress how all round poor this effort is.

Had to check several times to see if this book was AI generated as the plot line and dialogue was so ridiculous at times.But no it appears it’s simply a poorly concieved and executed novel .

Not a murder suspense more erotica than anything else

In a word Boring. Author spends most of his time on how good looking this guy or that guy was . This guy’s gay , that guys gay ,who’s sleeping with who. Where’s the suspense ? Boring. It was a free download but it cost me hours of my life.

Headshakingly , Laughably Bad

Full of unlikable characters. Wildly implausible details and twist and turns.How people can get this type of drivel published is beyond me.
It was one of those titles that you don’t have to pay for as it was “included with membership”.It still cost far too much.

Beyond ridiculous exposition

How do these authors get published? The story is populated with entirely unlikable characters. The only hope I had as I listened was for a meteor would destroy the house with he characters in it.
I will avoid all work from this writer like the plague.
The narrator was very good.

Two minor characters alone are likable .the children in this story. The father is a cheater and a narcissist, and comes across women willing to cheat with him while aware that he is married, the wife is an unhinged screeching, lunatic . Highly in plausible, storylines …suspension of disbelief can only go so far, I cannot believe this was published. I cannot believe the positive reviews .I’d have to have a serious brain injury to consider this anything other than Harlequin romance/horror pulp.So in summary I did not care for it.

After listening to several duds in a row, I was very happy to have this book to listen to as a palate cleanser. I liked it so much that I’ve downloaded several of this authors other books.

It’s sad to see an author still writing after they have lost it

Blathers on and on about Covid and markings and vaccines. Even though I am vaccinated and wore masked when required it’s not what I consider entertainment to hear some codger prattle on and on about it.
The book is also diatribe against everything he doesn’t like, which includes what is not limited to Christians ,conservatives ,Donald Trump, the police and much more.Apparently he sees nothing but injustice at every turn.
Ironically, he talks about the divisions within America itself, while he himself continues to promote division.
I’m not American, so I have no interest in the divisive political situation there.
I bought this book so that I could be entertained. I was not.
It’s like watching a formerly good professional athlete continue on for several seasons past his prime, living off nothing but name recognition.

Waste of my life energy and time

Interesting since this book talks about time travel, I wish I could travel back in time and not have wasted my time reading this book. how this thing is so highly rated is beyond me. I’ve enjoyed other time travel stories from other authors, so I’m open to the subject matter. This is just terrible.
